Halberd, polearm... or a oh whats that called those long maces i think are chinese... i see em in some minis games with asian themes... grrr darn my memory.

I'll be following these guidelines for my Glad:

Set 1 (Light Incursion/ 1v1 PvP) : Dual Wield Maces

Set 2 (Medium Incursion PvE): 2H Sword and/or Halberd

Set 3 (Heavy Incursion Abyss Crowd-PvP): Halberd

Set 4 (Light to Heavy Incursion pinch tank/PvE): 1 handed mace + shield

Im definetely going Dual-Wield. But im more worried about the DPS difference between a Dualwied Gladiator and a 2h Gladiator, AKA 2h does more damage so it gets more invites or its simply just better. Also, what is the stigma system? anyone care to link me some info on it please?

Im assuming the armor system works similar to gw so...a 2hander will have more dmg vs stuff with high armor dual wielder will have more dps vs normal targets.

I've already stated what weapon I'd like, but if it was all up to me I'd wield this:

Behold the awesomeness of the lanceblade!!!

It's still just a sketch, haven't bothered vectorizing it yet. It's a cross between a lance and a sword. It's a 4 edged weapon, so if you'd stab someone with it it would leave a cross shaped wound, not sure if that makes sense...

ok....? lol, Why would you want to leave a cross for a mark? Wouldnt it be better to just hit the guy with a pole and leave a round hole where the pole lands? It looked good tho if we are talking about a really long 2h Sword. But the 4 edged wouldnt come out as a Cross, it would most likely come out as a Diamond Shaped weapon

Just thought it would be cool with a 4 edged weapon, haven't given much thought to the wound thing, was just trying to explain the 4 edges. Guess the cross shaped wound was cause I like holy themed weapons, and the cross shape just went well with that.
