What ever gives me the most bang for my buck really training up a wep is no big deal, so i'll go with what ever gives me the most damage/best stats because i'll be sorc/glad and possibly and assassin because those are always fun =D.

Double Sword Imo <-----O-----> (Like the Duo Light Saber the Sith guy uses on Episode I of Star Wars) Otherwise, Polearm.

Well, if I had my way I'd take a melee class that doesn't wear weapons, wears minimal armor (not robes, but definitely cloth), and focuses on evasion while using magic up-close (if anyone watches Naruto, think Neiji). But, if someone told me I absolutely had to use a weapon, I'd do single sword, with a claw or some armored gauntlet in the offhand. I know I'll probably never see either in Aion, but I'm used to that by now /halftear.

So, has it actually been stated somewhere that pole-arms do aoe damage like in L2 or is that all just speculation? Because I would imagine if it does, then the 2h swords would do more damage, as it's a single target weapon. Otherwise, what would even be the point of going 2h sword if the pole-arms did the same damage as well as hit multiple targets in it's field of attack? Higher damaging skills? I don't know.
