If i could i would go dual 1h-axes, but since they arent in game im going halberd or 2h-sword

All 2-hands swords in Aion, have a basic bonus to the critical impact.
All polearms have a bonus to parry

But (!), Originally gladiator more parry than dodge or block.
more correct to run with polearms weapon

My choice - polearms

Can you tell us if there's specific skills when using either a polearm or 2H sword? Or are the skills the same no matter which weapon you use?

Best ever=oversized dual weapons...

there is a game out there where a certain race can dual wield 2h weaps

, though the game probably died by now

The difference only in speed weapon attack

i have translated about 70 gladi skills (and i mentioned that in another thread) i did not see any special skill neither for 2h axe,pole arm or dualwielding sword....guess i got to find some more info

Yes, but I have not seen axe's.

I have a thing for swords :P
I've played spear classes/builds in the past (ragnarok online, L2) but I prefer Swords over Spears.

So if possible I'll go dual, but wielding a Huge Sword does peek my interest.
