I would feel kinda lame if some leather wearing assassin would stab me to death while i'm wearing heavy plate and whielding a huge 2hander...

you are right dynatics but it's a fantasy game after all

even if you wanna see it realistic some parts can't be covered such as the throat... i think that that's enough for a skilled assasin to kill you

Its easier to cut the assassin in half using your 2hander, than to stab you in throat.

In majority of games heavy melees got advantage over assassins and such, which is normal.

not really.. mages r hard 2 kill as assassin.. because of range and tricks.. usually.. i will see aion what will bring

It shouldn't be what should be better, because they SHOULD be equal. The heavy 2-hand Gladiator deals big damage with his big weapon, however the quick Assassin deals half the damage, but twice as fast with his Dual Wield. It'll be based off of other skills and strategy in most games. The idea with the Assassin class is that it's a different type of melee that still can punish for those who are bored of the Hack'n'Slash warriors

Not if the assassin is faster and has high evasion...then he could jump on your back and prison shank you 10 times in the jugular vein.

maybe so... but u still must consider that chitah can run way much faster then a lion and make impressive jumps ... imagine them having weaps :P.. who will win? hehe

If assassin can destroy heavy melee classes, there will be little point on using them.

I think it will be harder but not impossible...frankly I'm tired of Rock,Scissors,paper I want skill to dictate who the victor in battle is.

saying that sin's will own glads baised on one video is not very wise. I saw the video and it looked like to me that the glad had very little skills at her disposal to use in the fight, It could have been unbalanced due to the lvl of each member.

not really.. I bet that gladiator has more def and HP.. and sins have more tricks and crits ... for me this is the balance I want

The main difference between an assassin and a gladiator will be their method of approach towards an enemy. They will both be good DDs.
