because is master of hitting vital points. ur armor doesnt cover all ur body .. u have some part not well protected because u need to move and an assassin is trained to hit that points in order do kill or make u bleed to dead . daggers r the best for this and also arrows :P

We will see, people always cry about warriors being overpowered, but when a caster can one-shot you or an assassin keep you stunned for 30 seconds while they rip you apart nobody seems to care.
A Gladiator should always have an advantage over an assassin class, imo, with their big damage and top-of-line armor class. An assassin should really have to use their finesse and time their skills just right to beat a warrior class. |

Assassins will probably be one of the classes most picked, even though i'd find it funny that assassin type of play would require more skill then a melee class (thats whats everyone is thinking always) . While an assassin has alot more advantages in general. No, to explain to an average gamers Eq, WoW players. A skilled warrior would own any class. Survival beats skill.

Lol no assassin/dagger class ever took braincells to pvp with.
They will win because gladiators are always underpowered and daggers are always overpowered. NCsoft are major archer/dagger fanboys, they always make those 2 overpowered. But if gladiators can finally stun without having to switch to some worthless trash weapon, and actually knock an opponent over on purpose, then sure we can win.

I agree, That's what you see in l2.
Game Dev's think daggers/archers are so awesome wich results in those classes to be FOTM. But doesn't mean that's gonna happen here though. The biggest problem i see now is that, We gladiators seem to try and get close and then only press the 3 combo atk. Besides that we got no other skills we can pull, This concerns me TBH. If we can only get 1 combo we can do in pvp, Then that's gonna be really really boring. Although i think i saw in an article that there gonna fix the distance gap. So i hope we get -Few more skills, So we can be more versatile in pvp. -Something to fix the distance between melee and range (aka a dash or with an skill like intercept like charge from wow ) -Different modes we can switch to, To be more versatile in pt. ( maybe something like wow with a defenive stance that you can tank a lil ? something along those lines ) All in all i hope and think we get more skills for the gladiator, To prevent it from being a dumb hill billy class.

You're probably under the "delusion" that a skilled player is based on using the right skill for the right time. Well i'd say thats just a partial ability a skilled player possesses Its also (in my opinion) knowledge of your opponents class skill abilitys as well as your own. And everything in between. Things as gear, level, share the same knowledge then just knowing the skills. In other words, these players will always have the odds with them. That doesn't make them unbeatable. Besides there are enough games that give you a advantage over one another. Just like Warcraft III, where hero's are supposed to make a difference. Or the nice catchy line; Be the 12th. U can only make a difference if u know how. An skilled player is more then you seem to think it is. And i take it as an insult that your speaking with a tone that u think u know what an actually skilled player is after your lack of knowledge in your sentences. ![]() |
