Gladiator Videos using 2 1h and 1 2h weapons

Hi my fellow gladiator mates


Because we talked about what weapon suits most the gladiator i found those videos where first a gladiator with 2 1h weapon is shown and in the second a typical gladiator with 1 2h weapon.

hmmm...from what i saw (i could be wrong) 2 1h weapons seem to attack faster than 2h weapon but i would probably do 2 1h weapons durin pvp i guess and 1 2h during pve or somethin, this is just what i would do maybe

hmmmmmid prolly go with 2H for PvP has higher burst damage than the 1h duel wielding

Not sure if that's two daggers or two swords. I think it's two daggers, but you need a stigma to use those I think.

Mmmm.. I'm pretty sure those are two swords and you can use them without stigma. They have the sword mastery from being warriors.

I could be wrong anyway, but that video is before CBT3 and that kind of stigma didn't exist.

These are defenitely two Swords that skill shown in the first video (this banana) is the samelike in l2 where the gladiator there uses two swords to use that kind of skill,calindor would confirm that ^_^

You can do that skill with a polearm too.

Im going to be a 2h axe/pole arm gladiator, because duel swords IMO are over used and I dont like how they look most of the time.

And I think the damage with a pole arm will be a bit more significant...

i am sure there will be a balance between dual swords and axe/pole but i want that each type of gladiator to be special in something..not only having a difference in the appearance due to the weapons.

felt like the 2h was faster at killing the mobs. 2h is what i am looking for but i will go what every way i need to for pve/pvp

its very dissapointing that we have no certain information about the gladiator wether wielding a 2h weapon or 2 1h weapons...

Id say judging by the tapes that both dual wield and 2H killed a mob in around 30 secs. One was faster with slightly lower damage and the other was slower with much higher damage. Basically how the two styles should pair up against each other.

Still i though the pole-arm had some cooler animations =)

not really... the dual wield hits the mob at like 2 seconds in and goes on until 34 seconds, the pole arm hits the mob at 10 seconds and goes until 25 seconds...

15 seconds for polearm and about 30 for dual wield

They will all most likely be like L2, WoW or any other game where the DPS will always be the same, just different combos of speed/damage on each type...But a single 1h weapon will be less because its only using up 1 slot compared to 2.
