Abyss Point Usage

What should I buy? 36 glad here, planned to buy orange boots with +move, but have heard of many other +move boots... Do I want to spend my abyss points on something else? Thoughts/suggestions?

At 36 or 37 you get the quest for the Blue Mau boots which are +20% speed. I would recommend spending AP on the L40 +attack speed gloves.

Or the level 30 gold abyss gloves...

I would go for the level 30 atk speed gloves. The level 40 are better in terms of stats, but the AP to effectiveness ratio doesn't match up. You are spending 60k more AP and waiting 10 more levels for 1% atk speed and some defense.

Aye, level 30 abyss gold gloves are the best bang for your buck. Doesnt need contribution medals either. And will last you until you manage to get a 40+ gold drop from bosses with 7% on it.

Just my $0.02, but I would suggest Abyss Lvl30 blue jewels first.... Goes a long way and many people overlook it... G/L.

lvl 30 attack speed gloves will be replaced at 46 with platinum coin quest ones, since they're 8%, but if you don't intend to grind coins then by all means go with AP gloves. I did, but will swap them out probably.

Order I have heard is:
Gold lvl 30 gloves
Blue lvl 30 jewelry

then whatever you want, as the gloves and jewelry should last you a good long time.

I'm just about to get my gloves, can't wait for that 6% extra attack speed all the time. Stacking with an attack speed scroll during pvp will be even sweeter.

You can also buy or craft expert adamantium gloves (+5% atck speed) and save abyss point for a full blue set.

I'm lv 37...according to you blue abyss jewlery is it still good to buy or it is better gold 30?

42 almost 43 gladiator still using the lv 30 Attack Speed Abyss Gloves, Nothing seems to compare to how awesome attack speed is for glads

First of all, you definitelly are not going to collect 1000 coins by level 46. I haven't been grinding platinum coins 100% of my levels but most of them anyway - and I have ~600 coins at lvl48 (started at lvl45).

Second, only the chain gloves have +attack speed, not the plate ones.

Third, the armor part you get from coin quest is random.

the armor part is not random as far as i know, but when picking heroic armor it only offers me the plate not chain

You need to go to the NPC that gives the chain.

I read it in some patch note that they're adding attack speed to Plate and maybe leather, don't know if it's 1.6 or what. I wouldn't care enough if it was chain, since attack speed is the main stat I care about, plate would be just a bonus.
