Kurngalfberg Protector's Sword x2

Can you do the quest to get Kurngalfberg Protector's Sword twice? I've heard someone say you can.

It says it is repeatable. I cannot confirm this though yet. Though I do not see the reason to do it since only the highest +attack speed weapon works. I would rather use Betoni's Sword + Kungalfberg.

I've heard multiple people say that both of the +attack speed weapons' bonuses stack, but multiple other people say they don't.

Can anyone actually show some evidence one way or the other?

NO THEY DO NOT

only attack speed on mainhand counts. They used to stack, and got nerfed for obvious reasons.

Only half correct, attack speed counts no matter which hand it's in. It goes off the highest of the 2, so if you have a +15% in your MH and +18% in your OH you only get +18%.

Considering that they USED to stack, common sense doesn't really factor into the analysis very much.

Well then, go waste 10 mil or so to get 2 attack speed weapons for yourself to confirm that they don't stack *shrug*

It's in patch notes for 1.2

They even un-soulbound all attack speed weapons from your character, so you could choose to sell one of them or give it to someone else.
