not really your PVE dmg is cut by half in pvp and also, we are discussing how melee is broken in this game. Yes, you will have those one or two times were you can get on an enemy and unleash a mass amount of dmg but usually that doesn't happen and how much we as glads have to go out of our way in order to be semi decent is an outrage. On top of range having a HUGE advantage over melee when flying we can't use half of our skills? what were they thinking when they made the gladiator class?

When you chase, overshoot, it helps. Don't rely on LautOL-run if you get my drift.

8.5 mil an hour solo grinding.
I can complete 1 round of the 57 shell plat coin quest in 20:30, including running back. if no poisons and noone else farming there, I've actually had to wait for my bind to repop up.
47 sorc in my guild can't do that, and I can consistently get 13-18 coins per hour.

Have your solo elites, I just duo them with a chanter or cleric, big whoop. they die faster that way anyway. And grinding normal mobs one every 15-18 seconds (open with cleave, usually still refreshing as I close range to next mob) at 33k xp a pop with absolutely zero downtime (consumables are your friend) beats the crap out of your kiting elites solo for xp.

Talking duels as a glad is straight retarded obviously this guy isnt complaining about duels as a glad....Plus ur glad is 45 and has 2 stigmas that are retarded Overpriced and most glads dont have at that point or in general. Edit: after looking at your toon bacon and seeing your 158 player kills I borderline about died of laughter lmao. level 45 and only 158 Pks jesus.............

Other then that Original poster should have quit and rerolled much mucch sooner so joke is on you. BTW PvP is more grouping in this game then anything granted it is lame some classes need a group to shine compared to others but what did u expect?

BTW best advice is always have run scrolls and anti CC pots period.

yeah I should have thing is I always kept hearing such great things about once I'm high it gets way better and I mean it did get a bit better however we're not looking at the big picture here one huge thing that gimps gladiators is melee since that's what's really broken I hear assassins can't do half their skills when flying either and the whole thing about chasing a target and saying "target is out of range" can get a bit frustrating

The only thing u should have known is glads own in the player created tournies aka duels with switch outs. I agree I thought these tournies were ran by NCsoft so I cared more but either way I was gonna play a temp, glad, or chanter so hell I was range raped in abyss regardless.

One thing your not paying attention to also is glads are one class where you shouldnt get ganked often hell I have only been ganked 3 times 1-42. The first x2 rangers, second x2 rangers, and the third being a sorc/sm and etc.

Keep your charge up at all times and hot key a anti CC pot those in succession then a speed scroll/air speed scroll = u get away.

I was getting my face handed to me daily with my Glad in the 30s, getting two-shot by Sorcs seemed to happen every other fight. I figured it was just me. Then I made a Ranger alt and discovered how ridiculously easy it was to kill things as a ranged class in this game.

Things I learned about the whole thing:

1) Gladiators suck solo
2) Gladiators suck before 40
3) Gladiators suck without Clerics
4) Gladiators suck without spending 5K on pots/scrolls/etc per fight
5) Gladiators suck without the best possible gear
6) Gladiators suck in the air
7) Gladiators suck if you're lagging even a tiny bit
8) Rangers don't have to put up with any of that
..now don't get me wrong...
1) Gladiators ROCK at running away (Ankle Snare + Charge away)
2) Gladiators ROCK in Group PvE (Tank/DPS in one)
3) Gladiators ROCK at Grinding Mobs (most Bots are Glads for a reason)

(Well really, Glads are a paintrain in PvP when rifting with Cleric support. Had 2 Glads, Templar and a Cleric and were pretty much unstoppable. It's not that the class is bad, just not suited for Abyss PvP)
