Dual Weild
I still didnt figured out was is best for a Glad. Dual Weild/Polearm/Greatsword. I know Polearm is better for Pve and Greatsword for Pvp but where does Dual Weild stand? I understand it depends what weapon you have. But is Polearms still best or is dual weild maybe a bit better?
Btw i am lvl 37 |

Thx for the fast reply. If i read your post good you prefer Dual weild(i know you said play what ever is your way). I have Inferno but need 1 other weapon. Just wanne be sure i need 440 crit or over? or need to get 440 crit and get other manastones?

Yes once you hit the solf cap of crit (440) you better be using your manaslots for something else. Also for another weapon you can use Hannet's sword (or dagger for the extra crit). You can still use more crit past 440...but the gain is reduced. Imo you can use better things like +attack and +magic resist for end game. Crit chance makes or breaks dual wielding....350+ crit /thumbs up....350-crit /throwPCoutofwindow.

If you have the blue 37level quest armor and you slot +10crit to it...and if you have Hannet's Sword + Inferno....I would go for it right now. If you cannot get your crit past 350...I would wait till 40+ for Advanced dual wield II (increase of attack power of offhand) and better weapons + manaslots.

Depends what you want to do. If you want to PvP with it (as I do) you should go for Advanced Dual Wield II (obviously), Ankle Snare, Unwavering Devotion...and anything else apart from these. I am already setting up myself for the dual wield advanced stigmas so I have Vengeful Strike in my arsenal....waiting for 45 to equip myself with Sharp Strike + Technical Counter.

I am lvl 37 and have now Ankle Snare-Advanced Stamina and off course dual weild. I will change that when i hit lvl 40 to the stigma's you told me![]() Is it correct when you dual weild you have not much skills wich you can use? Cleave/weakening/ferocious/Aerial lockdown/crashing blow/body smash/ankle snare/rupture/wrathfull/wall of steel. These skills i have equiped on my bars. Or do i miss a few? Make sure you skillweave if you decide to dual wield.

Ignoring the fact that this is FALSE...
*sigh* Dual Wielding becomes viable at level 35+, ideally at 40+ with a +attackspeed% weapon/gloves. It's single-target-only and you get less knockdowns, so it's ideal for farming and grinding in PvE, but not very good for PvP. Its single target DPS in PvP does *not* make up for the lack of knockdowns, which is one of our most devastating mechanics against other players. Greatswords deal less damage than Polearms and have less crit. The Accuracy bonus on a Greatsword will only factor into PvP in a rare few situations and isn't worth the loss of damage and increased chance to knockdown. |
