Aion in Australia

I just found this.

Nothing really big, you Aussies might be happy to know who is going to take care of Aion's launch. The weird thing is... That would mean it is not NCWest, but QVS? Unless this whole thing is a fake, in which case I am sorry - it didn't really look like one to me.

Also, according to JOL (a french MMO fansite):

C'est donc avec enthousiasme que QVS International se munit d'un site officiel en pr?vision de cette sortie, que les responsables estiment pour Septembre.

I do suck at translating from english to french, but you guys caught the important word - September. I didn't see it mentionned anywhere on the official Australian website tho, so go figure.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like QVS is providing any Oceanic servers, it simply seems they are an enthusiastic distributor for the game in Australia.

It's weird.. I can't recall ever seeing that kind of thing before (having their own marketing website etc) so it will likely lead to confusion and dashed hopes until they clearly state it's just the game software they are responsible for. I don't even understand why they would provide such a website for a game they are only distributing.. who cares really, either way it just ends up on the shelf at the local Gamestop.

QVS are just a distributor, they wont be hosting any servers that may or may not occur, unless I completely missed something. This is more news that Aion in Australia has allready been classified by our country and it is available for retail selling.

FWIW I sent them an email asking for extra information on a few things, so hopefully they reply soon. I'll try to call them on Monday as well, they weren't picking up today being the weekend.

I wonder why Australia, which is an english speakin country, get it's own english version run by a third party company had it's news release while the official english version contain no news at all except hearsay that pre-order for CE may be available worldwide on 29 May.

Ok so the English version is finally ready to roll out. So any news on the International Server?

So wait, QVS is only there to distribute, so that means the Aussies will either have to play with the NA/EU crowd, of the Asians, no? Unless there is something I am missing here, does this mean the Aussies play with the Americans?
