On another note... Ya, it's most likely that what we voice will have no affect on the game, seeing as we aren't the primary market. But hey, everyone needs to QQ once and a while! As long as they go back to Pew Pewing later.

It's impossible to make something on the "global" level that is accepted by all.

I tend to agree with the OP.

Who ever posted "They will follow the money." is clueless. NCSoft financial reports show the money comes from Korea, Japan, China. NCsoft

The west *thinks* they are the big gaming market. When in reality we are dwarfed by the East and will continue to be since they have the economic and cultural momentum at this time. http://www.pearlresearch.com/files/P...report_TOC.pdf

NCSoft does not need us. We offered a initial boost for their investors since suffering a profits drop in 2008. As long as Aion is strong in Korea, Japan and China - we are a secondary market.

These are polar opposites; neither end up being good ideals as on one end you are completely destructive, however on the other you are dehumanized. Both nations could learn a few tips from each other imo

While the OP threw in some statements that are likely to incite some folks , core idea he posted is the truth. And that's fine with me and I knew it coming in. I wanted an Asian style game that has the mechanics Aion currently has and thus am happy.

Post release, the amount of QQing on the official forums from people who truly expect anything different and any sort of major changes is going to be an amusing site to see.
