Agreed. Honestly I'm looking forward to this. I want the cries to go largely unheard...hopefully it'll lead to more game discussions and less whining flooding EVERY ASPECT OF THE GAME.

I'd say proving an actual higher IQ is a flamefest of a topic , but I don't think anyone could actually argue against that if you took 500 random South Koreans from the ages of 10-30 and the same random 500 Americans 10-30 , and gave them a general knowledge test involving math , science , history , and geography, that a betting man is putting money on the Koreans to trash the American scores.

So actually smarter maybe not , better educated and knowledgeable as a whole ? Absolutely.

Math and science yes, history and geography no way. And just to further derail the topic I believe the highest IQ ever recorded is that of a South Korean guy. Think he still lives. Could look it up but too lazy

Oh you must not have seen many of the videos TV shows do where they stop people on the street - adults - and ask them to point out X on a map. Half cannot correctly point to correct locations of Maryland or other states , and more than 3/4 usually cannot pick out Germany on a map of the world.

The US public is laughable when it comes to geography.

Yeah I know. But I teach Korean middle school and they can't even find their own country if you show them a western map with North America on the left

@OP: Ah well, no change from just about any other MMO. Whether it'd be Aion now, or WAR where I just came from or any other MMO before that with the company located outside of Europe.

The story is always the same, you're always the second ranked customer for which the mother company could give a damn. It's something you get used to after a while, so no worries .

Any game is going to cater to what is best for the game and player base. If there is something inexcusable for the NA audience, you can bet that concern will be shared via our producers and bring visibility to the issue for Korea. They aren't just in the business to keep Korean gamers playing, they're in the business to keep Chinese, French, American, and all players playing. I wouldn't rule out our opinions so easily.

Unless you're the one calling the shots your opinion has never and will never matter. When you learn to talk with your wallet and not your mouth you'll be much better off.

There is one simple rule in life, "F.T.M.", follow the money. That is how every decision is made, plain and simple.

Judging from your signature I will just say that you're a very confused individual from the head start, so I won't take you seriously at all.

I'm sure our opinions will be shared by the NCSoft people in Seattle.I just lay odds no major changes will ever be done that are not done in Korean version first. (leaving out any translation/pure localization changes).

Anything that requires major time/code changing only for the NA/EU audience based on some poll on a third party website will never occur if its something that will never be put in game for the Asian versions first.

Prime example , Gameguard.

It's in and it's going to stay , they can say they are "listening" all they want , it's going to stay.

Overall I rather them not listen to the whining masses and produce a game by polling on a message board.

Here's something shocking to those who think that changes will be made on YOUR (the N.A. audience) opinion: It won't be! Changes are made around the Korean audience as they are smarter and much more massive in population size than the U.S. audience.

So, do you see all of the things that are bugging you in game right now? Well, unless the Koreans have complained about it, it will stay that way. There is no changing based on your perspective. The only thing the NCwest team will do is "localization" (ie: translations) and bringing you news about changes and patches. That. is. all.

Please don't think that you can change this game from voicing your opinion or griping about certain things. This is not the WoW developers we're talking about here. These are overseas developers who cater to their intended audience and you are, in fact, just a side audience. Imagine a parent that buys the older child all the newer clothes. Then, when the child outgrows those clothes, they are handed down to a younger child that gets no say.

The Koreans are the older child. You are the younger child. Do I make myself clear?
Do I make myself clear? lol who do u think u are? Someone that matters? lol Your name should be Ledouch instead. Did someone **** in your cornflakes this morning. Get a life.

good... as Americans we make everything far too easy.

edit: all they would hear is Bit*hing and moaning from those that are used to getting everything they want.

I still think the OP is an *** hole though, NC is trying to keep this game global.
