I fail to see how just because they don't allow multiple capital letters = this game is "wowified." You should learn a little bit about originality. WoW was NOT the first MMORPG out there. I'm sure we can all agree that it's been immensely popular and amazing, but it was not the first. WoW got ideas from previous MMOs out there and implemented them in their own way. Aion is different and new, but NCsoft would be crazy to not take some ideas that have worked well from other MMOs and implement them in their own way. There will be some elements similar because they work. There will also be some elements that are different. It's not the same. Just because there are some similarities doesn't mean that Aion is a "WoW clone."

The way you think, any MMO that comes out after WoW is going to be a "WoW clone" because you cannot see beyond that one game. Truly unique MMOs that have nothing in common with other MMOs before it? Not going to happen.

I'm sorry that the lack of multiple capital letters in Aion makes you feel it is a WoW clone. It's pretty hilarious, though.

I understand that Wow was not the first or w/e. But after playing 1.5 it is apparent they are taking ideas off of WoW. (And way too many of them.)

Your first post was all about how you are so mad that NCsoft, who is bringing the game to NA/EU from China/Korea, is westernizing things for the NA/EU game. Really? If it bothers you so much that the game was westernized for its western release, go back to C-Aion.

And then you just had to throw in some WoW analogy and comparison... even though you'd installed the trial for only 10 minutes. This was the most laughable. If you want to complain that you can't have multiple capital letters, fine. Do so. & I've studied the game from an objective standpoint. I know a bit about the concepts of WoW. I'm also not the only one to say Aion is turning into a wow clone.

NCsoft isn't taking ideas from WoW. They are listening and implementing ideas their testers want to see.

You can't have names like ImThEjUgGeRnAuT because it ruins immersion, which was covered in an interview with one of the devs. OP isn't worth the time to link a source, but use some google magic and find it yourself.

Please stop crying over the loss of your desired name and try to spend the time coming up with a new one.

See the logic in that? Immersion will always be 'broken' as long as there are real players behind the characters. You can't have your cake and eat it too.
