WoW Junky ALERT: A Warning to All.
Over the last 5+ years many of us have played different games with different people. Whether it was an enjoyable experience or a living nightmare is all relative to the individual (most of the time). Now it is believed by many that the WoW community as a whole is a deteriorating spawning ground for virgin teenagers trying to make a name for themselves in an internet setting. Most of us who have played WoW for years and had fond memories won't hesitate to agree when they say that the game and it's community have been on a steady decline since the launch of Burning Crusade.
Before people go "got ganked in STV too much?" "arena teams below 1800 ggnewblulzkthx" "BM huntard imo?" please retract those statements as I was a gladiator multiple seasons in the pathetically simplistic arena scene. I'm not bragging or trying to pound my chest as I am hardly proud of anything I accomplished in the e-cubicle. Now this isn't necessarily a troll thread, or a flame roast but I wanted to give those who haven't done their research a little heads up leading to the live release of Aion. After playing GW, AoC, and WAR I've seen the WoW community, mainly the upper echelon of the arena crowd, flock to servers together in an effort to stay in a competitive environment. While I respect this and I wish them the best of luck doing so, I can't help but feel the need to inform those who aren't trying to play Aion 70+ hrs. a week a bit of a warning. Siel Is the Official Server 1 Main PvP Server In the most recent of WoW arena movements, it would appear that Siel is the server of choice if you are a somebody in the arena game. For those who crave a heavily populated and drama filled environment to play, by all means roll on this server. For the rest of you who want to play on a competitive server without all the nonsense that comes with it, I would highly suggest rolling elsewhere. Everyone has their own interests and goals in mind when they set out to play/do anything, whether its IRL or online. Let us all make the educated decision when moving to Aion. Cheers and good luck in finding the server that may bring the pleasures every other game in the last 5 years has failed to provide. |

The first is sited from arenajunkies.com, the main information source for those involved in the arena scene. The OP is Veev, a highly decorated arena player who has been among the top of the ranks since the implementation of rated PvP in WoW. Judging by the responses, his guild and many other established and not so established WoW guilds will be following close behind. The second is a recent aionsource thread created by some random person who feels the need to begin e-peen flexing weeks prior to the actual release of the game and the official server listing. Reading just 2 pages of that thread is enough to make a grown person age noticeably. Sorry for the confusion. |

It's funny after 10 minutes of this thread being posted, you can already tell which 2 kids are WoW players. Posting pictures with pointless messages was never cool or funny, anywhere.
Thanks for the heads up, much appreciated. |
