Exp loss

Well..to be honest i am wondering what's the benefit of losing xp..
Playing l2 all those years, i came to the conclusion that it has no other effects than making you go "grinding,grinding,grinding,grinding" again.
I mean...wtf? You wanna go to a mass pvp with your clan, die 3-4 times and then trying to get 20% back?...
Also...you xp for a few hours..you gather 10%..a stupid mob kills ya twice and here you go again...over the beggining...
Xp-ing in L2 was D A M N hard....suffering xp loss made it even more hardcore...
I really hope this is not gonna end up like l2 regarding the xp..
Nothing can be compared to WOW xp(countless quests that reward you with gold, items, and GREAT xp)..At least not l2 that you had to xp about 1month from lvl79-80 and then lose your xp when u die...

I hope there isn't exp loss on pvp death. Mob death makes sense, but I don't want the experience I had with L2 all over again with this game. Maybe losing something else when you die in pvp but not exp.

They're still tweaking the death penalty. They might lower it, I don't know. If you actually read the news forum/frontpage then you'd have seen and read the most recent interview with Aion's Lead Designer in which he makes a comment about it.

And no, I don't know any specifics. I haven't gotten to play the game. Really wish I had, though.

I'm sure he didn't meant to sound like a real war lol.. just in that there r a lot of flames and spams . and that is kind of true and only stupid and bad words posts r deleted or locked. That's why I like this forum.. And really Mark.. shouting "you'll get banned" doesn't scary me much. Is just a forum after all. I will get scared when an Aion admin will shout this at me in game LOL

i played lineage 2 and im telling u that exp loss from pvp is a GOOD thing. Makes pvp a bigger deal. The more harsh the penalties are for dying the better. In l2 though the whole game was based off a never ending grind so exp loss sucked when it happened. Aion is not going to be a grind fest like l2 so 5% exp loss of pvp wouldnt be bad at all. In wow running around ganking wasnt nearly as fun as it was in l2. Sure it would be more common cuz people didnt care if they died cuz of no penalties, but people get mad when they loose exp and they will call their friends then u will call ur friends and it will turn into a huge pvp. i remember when wow first came out i went to a big raid on a city it was 1 big fight at the beginninga nd whoever won that won the whole thing cuz everyone jsut kept rezing and dying. there will be plenty of people in aion and in the abyss so u wont worry about not seeing someone for days like u did in l2. if u *****ed about exp loss in l2 u probably sucked anyways. I mean untill c4 came out it wasnt really that bad when u lost exp from pvp i understand when u loose exp at 80 it sucks but when the cap was 75 it wasnt that bad. i was 100% into 75 in c3 and id idnt exp once and i pvped ALOT and i never deleveled to 74 i came close at the end of c3 but never did. i mean with exp rezs from bishops it really wasnt that bad untill c4.
