AION CBT Launcher

Umm, what's going on in here? Anyone can download the client from Aion's Korean website, if they want. No KSSN is required, nor a Korean playNC account. Also, even when you're done patching, you won't be able to play. No beta period is active, no servers are online. All you will see is the login screen. Everyone's seen that by now.

So what's this thread really about? Nothing? I don't get it, this stuff isn't important. It doesn't need a thread. Everyone who was paying attention to the beta two months ago already knows this stuff, and perhaps more. What's the big deal? Why do we care about a patcher? It's a patcher, it downloads and installs updates, yay. I'm super excited, not.

So what is this thread's plea? It's getting the death sentence if it doesn't have a defense. This thread reminds me of the weekly "hey look, Amazon.com says Aion is releasing tomorrow" thread.

Well, AFAIK, you can only dl the client from the korean off. site if you have been chosen to test the game. Even with a simple registration (which is requires a kssn) on the site and signing up for the beta is not enough, you need to be a tester (your acc would lvl up, your forum rank would change to Daeva or smg like that).


BUT, that doesnt change the fact that every info which were presented in this thread were already discussed months ago!

I got the CBT2 client. I do not want to scare you, but it took me a week. Yes, 5 days to download all the files! After this you will be able to lunch the game, you will see the term and agreement, then the login screen (wich is pretty cool!). After this your screwed ;p. Watch the login screen while hearing the music and wish you had a friend in korean. That's what I did, lulz.

By the way I forgot what I typed in google, but I got the client loader direclty from the official korean website...doh
