After looking at some screen shots and videos I just sat back in my chair and realized that the game at the moment looks pretty homo.

I dont know if its because I play AoC now, but when i played WoW and was following Aion it seemed really nice looking.
Now that I play a more mature MMO (graphically and communally) I look at Aion and say to myself "damn...lots of fairies and rabbit looking things hopping around..wtf is going on here?"

The game almost looks like its being developed by Walt Disney himself. Dont get me wrong it does look great...if you like that kinda gay fantasy style feel that WoW has and im surprised micky mouse hasn't been announced as a raid boss yet but it just lacks testosterone at the moment.

This of course does not reflect about how I feel about gameplay, which looks strong...im just kind of moving away from the art design part of the game which is kind of making me think all the Aion devs attend the rainbow pride parade every year if you know what I mean.

They really need to man it up.

I could be comming from a more or less biased perspective because I currently play a game that revels in blood splatter, nudity, swearing and the decapitation of limbs....which is a huge breath of air from playing MMO's that are more restricted from that sort of thing.

I can also see how this would affect the rating of the game and therefore affect how they would do in sales, being restricted to a certain age group, rather then being able to sell it to all age groups.

Its just after seeign this and playing the other, puts me at a crossroads, not knowing what to do when the game actually does come out...even after all this time following it. (which has been a lot longer then my join date to this website)

Listen son, when you get out of puberty the novelty of nudity profanity and blood will wear off, and you can start looking at a game's art direction and design. I know, it's cool because your mom and dad won't let you watch R rated movies, so you get a big boner from games like AoC, but when you get older you're gonna care more about the game systems, and Aion's are shaping up to be really well thought out.

Maybe come back when you can legally drink and you have your head on straight?

Oh, and you should probably be less ignorant when throwing around the word 'gay'.

It's called "high fantasy" for a reason buddy.
And normally all the little bunnies and faeries are just in the low level areas, I'm sure things will look a lot more mean I guess when you get to the high level areas. Nudity? Maybe, but I definitely wouldn't mind lots of Asmodian blood on my shield.

Well I don't really agree that this game is too fairytale like or whatever.

But I do agree that the graphic seems kinda odd... it's hard to tell but it all looks so soft and not really realistic(whether it's fantasy or not it should at least realistic).
Though that doesn't really describe what I mean... it's not that the graphic sucks - it's quite awesome still in some ways - when I look at the Spiritmaster's spirits for example- it really makes it look a little ... childish... no .. but uhm like it's painted.
Also the monsters - even if they're supposed to look scary don't look scary or evil at all...

Though if you mean AION should have more blood/nudity whatsoever , I really disagree and maybe you should consider not to play AION at all 'cause it sure won't be that kind of game. ;p

throwing around jokes towards peoples sexuality isn't the way to voice your opinion. i personally find it offensive as some of my close friends are homosexual.

this why I hesitated before typing that out and I knew the consequences that would come with posting this, im not saying that Aion should have this, I just think this is a cool aspect that was incorporated with a MMO, something thats never been done before and perhaps maybe the NCSoft can do their own play on this and give Aion a more brutal/realistic feel to PvP/PvE.
