As some of the men trying to look cool said they believe that the devs "go to the rainbow pride parade" every year...and thats why...

I think its because its a really well made game, and it doesnt look like WoW, it actually looks good.

anyway, its true, significantly more girls are interested in Aion than in other MMOs. I think its because of the incredibly beautiful scenery+music combo...and the SHUGOs!!!!

Aion has pretty characters with wings, and wonderful landscapes. Pretty much what girls appreciate most.

Cuz it's so beautiful and I can't play ugly games.
Like WOW, boys just keep arguing with me about it is not ugly at all when I can't even stand to look at my char. (night elf.)for more than 1 week.

Also because there's eyecandy for us too in this game. No more having to look at characters who seem to be on steroids, or faces that look like they got smashed into a wall (as in the case of WoW).

And of course the wings, and the pretty music, and the scenery and all that....

Because most girls don't like long monotonous grinds. Those that I have talked to prefer to quest and Aion will involve a lot of questing. Plus, all the pretty landscapes and eye candy (attire & character appearance)

It's nice that Aion doesn't have to try to forcefully be 'girl-friendly' in order to appeal to a female market. I hate gender-based advertising that is overly patronising.
