ooh that was another one of those top 5 worst posts on aionsource.

The cry engine has better graphics than any other MMO engine out right now, look at WoW's engine, its almost 6 years old, L2's is almost 5 (even though l2 came out first).

Aion reminds me nothing of any F2P mmo I've ever heard of in my life.

Oh and I think Aion looks pretty damn good and alot better than anything coming out any time soon and if Aion looks "amateur" then give me an example of a game that looks professional to you.

The meer fact you dont even have ****ing strings on your bows after Blizzard showed in WoW the worlds most horrible graphics engine, you can have bows with strings that function 100% correctly.

I hope some NCsoft rep manages to inform our korean friends that they need to put detail into something other than a female model.

It's using Cryengine 1, great. Cryengine 2 has been out and on sale for a long time now, but then we'd be looking at 2015. Graphics don't mean much when you put sod all effort into textures for ground terrain, vegetation and more.

And whats with all the floating islands? The Abyss so far looks like some star wars mistake that they got a hold of and turned into a video game, Platformwarz!

Sorry to disrupt anyones wonderful thoughts about another mediocre game with a ridiculous release date, absolutely -zero- UK/USA/European advertisement campaign (Meaning less than 2mill players, oh look at WoW it has breached 10,000,000 and sucks anyway), and no new features.

I dunno why anyone cares.

Obviously you do to post. Graphics dont make or break a game for me so I could care less how the game looked as long as It plays fun and I enjoy myself.

The graphics look great to me, yeah. But there is a real lack of detail so far, and it doesn't look like there is anything particularly ground breaking for a player to do.


and Calindor all you ever actually do is talk about Lineage 2 after playing the most ridiculous class in the game, and bash people like me who think you're a simple plank of wood.

And either way, you cannot possibly say it's the worst or even the top 5. It's 100% fact.

1: the ships do sit static in the sky and look ridiculous.
2: the bows can have strings, clearly, looking at ugly games like WoW pulling it off.

Go ****ing stick your head in the sand Calindor, throw down, you suck at L2 and you suck at pvp, you're probably hopeless on an overlord in any actual situation where anything but F1 F1 F1 F1 is required.

All you do is rag on me like a little ****** cos you don't like my opinion on your trashy favourite game, that i'm unbeatable at. Unlucky, ****.

Physics and good terrain textures would be awesome, but I really doubt we'll be seeing them. Physics especially, I think it really needs to be in the game, but oh well. That's why from a technical standpoint, AoC is superior. Let's just hope Aion lives up to the hype, and has good gameplay. That's all we can hope for in Aion: Good gameplay.
