Well I have had enough. See everyone around in another MMO. Hopefully one that does something about spammers and botters. This is all to reminiscent of L2. NCsoft didn't do anything then and I don't think is doing anything now...well nothing worth a damn.

I'm boggled how an MMO company can have a pre-order bonanza like Aion did, but yet not have anything in place to protect its players. Ability to file petitions in game, and have actual live customer support in game is a JOKE! This is not acceptable for a game you want to make it in the West.

Not to mention a chat system that is soo deluded with spammers it can't even be used. When it is used its filled with 12 year olds saying the damnedest things...if you aren't 12 I apologize. Just insert 13 in that space.

if you enjoy the game other than those 2 problems, i suggest not quitting. NC Soft is definitely trying to do something about them, they are just failing really bad. I was one of the victims of their last friday ban wave, although i never botted or bought gold. i got unbanned and i realize everyone makes mistakes but i just hope they dont continue banning people for no reason, without even doing any sort of investigation into the ban.

i am with you though, what is so hard about going into a server, and looking at the chat, and banning those accounts who are spamming the chat? why isnt this happening? why is a spammer in the chat for hours ?

Well I wouldn't go so far as to say someone sucks for playing.

My reasons are a little more extensive than what i have posted, but those reasons have pushed me over the edge of canceling my account. My concern is the length of time it has taken them to do anything about spammers/botters in this game. I wonder how long it will take them to fix anything else...other than the knee jerk reaction that banned regular players. Then went to the lengths of sending them emails putting a warning on their account for something that is/is not someones fault. I know that not everyone that got banned was innocent, but that doesn't nullify the fact that NCSoft is willing to go to lengths of putting in a program that bans haphazardly.

Also I just saw a link to Twitter that says 24/7 GM support is coming soon. I have 2 comments about that.

1. How do you launch this years biggest MMO WITHOUT having a GM system in place at launch. You don't even need 24/7 support later on, but at launch you NEED it.

2. Why do I have to go to Twitter and find game updates when Aion has a god damn web page! At this point that alone makes me want to kick a small kitten. (lol not really, but I would rub a small puppies face in dog poo)

In a couple months the only people that will be left in this game are the weeaboos, masochists, and spammers/boters. Those are the same ones that defend this game. They will be attacking your post and this one trying to form their opinions as facts in a way to make themselves feel better.

if the OP doesn't like leveling, then perhaps MMO is the wrong genre of game and should maybe try console games.
LoLz if you dont think WoW isnt a grind as well, how long can you level a toon from 1-80 ??

WoW has a more generous leveling curve. If you assume (just for the sake of argument) that it takes roughly the same amount of time to reach level 80 in WoW as it does to hit level 50 in Aion, your perception is going to be that leveling in WoW is nearly twice as fast.

Lots of trolling lately, i,m wondering what our Mods are doing. At WoW forums Blizz deletes pretty much all Aion threads except negative ones.

Quiting because of chatting is such a flawed argument, considering most players here came from other games.

I personaly think the reason why people are "leaving" because of the bots and gold spammers doesn't have much merit... if blocking the gold spammers is to hard to do (oh noez I can't move my mouse to click on their name and block them... aaaah!!1!one!)... then ya... not sure I want you playing your class in my group because other things may be to disctracting... (waitz for me... I can't read the chatz because of z gold spammerz... wait... what'z vent?... I hatez the grind... I want to be L50 naugh!!!1!... I don't know what it meanz to explore!!)

See ya... I hope you find a game with no problems in the first month of game launch... I recommend the Wii...

For everyone else... I'm glad this game does well in weeding out the QQ's and having them rage quit while the competent players are enjoying this game as much as I do... if you think you're missing out... I personaly think it's all in the right guild... find a good one, and fast... and enjoy my friend
