This. I have never had to grind and my Legion mates who are in the early 40s say they don't understand where this "grind" mentality comes from... as they don't have to grind.

If you never played instances in WoW you couldn't keep from running out of quests in a lot of areas, even now. My wife was playing this weekend and she ran out of quests and farmed ZF for a few levels... (unless you did the triple xp stuff) yes leveling is slower, but we only have 50 levels to go, and next patch gives more xp anyway. Soooo sooo many QQers here.

in every mmo u grind one way or another, wow used to be a big grinding world but now its all hand in to you in a plate. i dont think AION is a best MMO other there but i played other so i stick with AION until anything else is worth playing (Star Wars: The Old Republic).

Why the hell do people play MMOs, if not to grind? Such retards. EVERY MMO IS THE SAME... You GRIND to level.. You GRIND in raids to get gear. You GRIND PVP to get rank and gear... You GRIND your professions. Why do you even play?

What was your first MMO?

The game has been out for a few weeks, you are level 38.. the level cap is 50... some people are already close to that... How much easier could it get?

I actually agree. This game is pretty boring and brings nothing new to the table. It's WoW with wings and less quests, with worse pvp than WAR. I haven't played since my account got unbanned.

It looks like someone doesnt have their BW and is QQing!

WAR has horrible PVP, target out of range issues, classes that are unplayable, classes that are one button god modes and the end of the end game pvp is a PVE fight.

As for the wow comment, its funny cause some people say that this game isn't WoW enough and others say its too much like WoW.

I agree for the most part. I find the PvP to be fun, however, which was my whole reason for playing the game.

I'll definitely stick with it, provided they fix the crashing.

Do people no realise that WoW has just as much grinding to do? Sure you can max out in level just by questing (and half of those quests are 'collect 500 spines from mob x that have a 2% drop rate'), but then you spend the rest of your time grinding rep and other similar crap to get anywhere.

Not to mention this game hasn't been released that long, and if anyone remembers WoW at OB / Release you had pretty much the same problems- not enough flight paths, not enough quests, not enough content, nyerk poor crafting, and so forth. If you didn't do instances, or group quests (or couldn't because people were lower level and still leveling), then all you were left with was to grind.

I'm not saying Aion will be better, it may fail miserably, it may blossom, who knows. However comparing a game that hasn't been out that long to a game that has been getting refined for what.. 5 years? Thats just moronic. MMOG's are an evolving beast, they never come out of the box polished.. NEVER. Pick your favourite MMOG and I'll tell you what problems it had on release.

So to everyone that is unsatisfied and tired of the current situation, sure, go back to WoW (if you're really that bored) and give Aion a couple months to release patches then return and try it again. People play these sorts of things waiting for something better to procrastinate time on whether it be online or offline such as, Dragon Age, SW:TOR, Mass Effect 2, whatever floats your boat - all BioWare titles mind you.

I suggest you don't just grind. After so many mobs killed, you get bored. Do some crafting. Get some gathering done. Go PvP in the Abyss a little. Then you will be fresh for grinding again.

Those that all they do is grind and grind and grind mobs are missing out on a lot of the game.
