Basically, the only people who even care that the BBB exist are the people looking for something to complain about. People who are satisfied or having a good time rarely say anything since they're getting what they expected. Look at this forum: thread after thread after thread of nyerking, and I've seen ONE large thread thanking NCSoft for a great game.

Assume that the continuing subscriptions are the "thank you's" of the satisfied players, compare THAT to however many complaints the BBB might have.

Seems like only those with anything better than a D are those that are "accredited" meaning they pay the BBB for a few years. IE: No, BBB doesn't mean jack nyerk.

The fact that the BBB takes money from the people they rate makes the BBB incapable of being any sort of regulatory force, or any sort of monitoring system.

I'm not surprised one bit at this rating.

There are major outstanding issues such as botters, 10-item broker/auction limit, insane XP curve (not TIME to level but NOTHING to do but grind at 30+ to distract yourself from the XP count), ridiculously poor chat filtering to block goldspammers, etc. I mean for god's sake, no 24/7 support even with multi-hour queues for the most basic of quest item/etc. help? They charged $70, full price for a Collector's retail edition, and full-price $15 a month, yet it's worse than a free-to-play game on that front. CS is poor and the communcation from NC is worse. Twitter feeds for 4 different NC employees, GET REAL! This is a commercial product, not a freebie utility from an individual donating his time!

Everything nc did up to now was totally reasonable.

If you don't like the game or the company, you're free to leave. No, you can't have your money back, you won't get it back either if you watch a bad movie at a cinema or go to a theme park and it rains.
