USA killed 220,000 innocent people in WW2.
Why dont you post Remember on August 6th? I'm not saying I dissaprove of this thread, or dont care about what happened on 9/11...but Americans tend to act like its the worst tragedy every on earth, when dozens of worse tragedies have been committed in other places in the last 100 years. |

Don't you dare say that I am anything less than a patriot. I love this country and I love the man who leads it. George Bush is an incredible man; he is a far greater man than any of us here. On that stark, terror filled morning of Nine Eleven, when hope was swept away, he stood tall, staunch and unyielding, resolute and firm, upon a pedestal of childrens' books taken from a local elementary school. And as he planted his foot down upon those childrens' books ( perhaps a symbol for his two-term long war on the education system to undermine the reign of the intelligent elite who only seek to lead America astray with their evil ideals of free knowledge, free speech and the democratic process ), he ushered in a great dynasty during which he would stand upon many other things like the crumbling remains of gutted cities, and the pride and wallets of America. He unflinchingly glared into the horizon, in the direction of the Twin Towers ( he was actually gazing south, f*** you alright, he's the president, not a cartographer ), his simian eyes hard and resolute, the profile of his face so hard, so craiged, you would never have guessed that from the front he looked exactly like a chimpanzee, and he realized what he had to do. In a situation where any lesser man would've immediately crumbled, he stood resolute, like a great pillar of justice, and he led. Maybe not in the best way, maybe to the great displeasure of the E.U. and Kanada ( they're all pussies anyway )... can't forget Asia and Australia neither ( communists and criminals, screw them )... oh and South America, Central America and probably Africa ( nobody cares about those last three places though ), but he led. He led the American people down the lonely road of justice. And never once did he let us forget the events of that tragic day, like any true American would not have. He loved his country as much as he loved how the mere utterance of the words Nine Eleven could boost his approval rating. Amen, God bless George Bush.

Lawl Celestin at first i thought u were serious about bush and i was about to flame u....just a little.....not enough to burn i promise....
anyways as an American going to highschool i can tell you that after 7 years hearing and learning about the tragedy over and over again for 7 years is Tedious and un needed. I know what happened and i dont need the constant reminder. People Died but as Just a memory said People die every day. I feel very sorry for people who lost their loved ones but i feel even more sorry for the large number of american Troupes who die each day.....wehres there memorial for them so far....Its a reoccurance every day....yet no moment of silence at 12 noon (thats when we Paused for 911 today.) We need to get on with our lives and rebuild what has been lost and cope with the pain that seems to follow some of us to this day. |

Hey man, you talking smack about my president? Well f*** you alright. I'll defend that great man to the death for as long as he's wiretapping all my communications.

they pound 911 into our heads so tediously so we forget that our country has been a major part of why it has come to occur. The same reason they pounded WMD's into our heads while they arrogated themselves to manufacture another holy war of oil-ocracy guised as peaceful imperialism...if there ever were an oxymoron...
It's a shame things like 911 have to happen, but hey, there's never a problem until there's a problem right? Our beloved motto of government that has merits, but is not perfectly merited. there is no problem with grief, and no problem with compassionate aggression/vigilance/suspicion/cynicism. The problem is when either is singled out at the expense of the other. remembering 911 should be about more than an occasion to grieve; revolution I say (against arrogance). TO ARMS! ![]() __________________ Last edited by justamemory; 09-11-2008 at 11:03 PM.. |
