I remember covering the entire floor of every act with 100 gold piles. Raging good time. I also remember being level 10 and having the max amount of money I could possibly get via gambling.

Yeah, that was getting extremely obnoxious after a while. It was like chat spam that I couldn't turn off.

Creative, though. It's the only way left currently that they can get to people, beyond keyloggers.

Interesting, unless they did some sort of massive overhaul in the last month, because when I left I was still getting whispers and seeing trade/general/LDefence messages from gold spammers.

Oh. I left Trade chat about a year and a half ago. Maybe that's why I never saw them. Heh.

Of course most WoW players had addons which blocked the spam pretty effectively. That is one of the few things I miss about addons, and I hope AION takes a good hard look at some of the most effective WoW spam block addons when they make their filters.

As for the dead bots, it was always rather humorous to see a flock of level ones come racing through Durotar early in the morning, leap ridiculously high into the air, and fall to their deaths on the ground. So obviously a hack, but soooooooooo funny looking.
