Lets say you like to grind cool. You hit 50. $hit I hate the abyss. End Subscription.
Hate the grind love the abyss? Do I spend countless hours and days playing a game that currently I can't stand. Can't speak for everyone but no thanks I can play other games that I actually enjoy.

People are going to leave. The botting/spamming isn't going to be the reason its just really annoying NCsoft wont fix it. 14 servers. Lets say a person is capable of monitoring 3 servers chat and banning accounts. 5 people for that and problem solved.

Another 7 people looking for bots. This isn't rocket science. Why the hell haven't they done this.

Levels 1-9 taught you how to play the game.
10-11 New area cool.
12-24 Grind.
25 Abyss! Cool!
26-30 Grind.
31 FireTemple and that sucked too
32-36 Grind
37 Speed Boots!
38-50 Grind

So all those levels of grinding for what? A upgrade/new skill? This game could be fun with 20 levels with PVP&Fort end game. The other 30 levels are not needed.
I don't know what the hell you've been doing but 25-30 is NTC. Maybe you decided to skip NTC and try to grind through those lvls but your loss. Grinding isn't bad either. Every MMO has grind, I don't see how this is a nyerking shocker to everyone, even WoW had grind. Most of you are idiotic thinking that just because it's a quest it has no grind whatsoever. Most the quests in WoW,Aion, etc etc all had "Kill 10 cows, 100 deer, and 20 goats so I can make some nyerking milk." but most people think oh that's not grind. Get used to it or get out and go back to WoW where you lvl to 80 within a week. Weak nyerkbags.

/agree with OP 100% Btw I like your raving rabbids

Says 28's level player. And not, not every mmo has grind and those which have also have something else to do in between.

I think many people have different views on what PvP actually is.

The OP thought world pvp = ganks and zergs.. when in truth... it really isn't. That is purely un-coordinated nub pvp. Where is the skill in being in a group of 5000 and zerging over 2 people? Does this make you a super 1337 player in zerging? Does that really fulfill and justify your choice in this game? World PvP is exactly what is is... using the world for pvp. When i picture world pvp i see groups of people using tactics (ala DAoC). I want to see groups roaming around, not zergs. I want to see co-ordinated strikes from different guild groups onto one objective.

If the majority of people are like the OP, and came to this game to zerg like mindless lemmings, then i made the right choice in unsubbing.

Name a single MMO that wasn't grind. Why do you think I said that lvl 25-30 is NTC and didn't bother commenting on everything else. I never reached 50 so I really can't say what it's like. I'm only saying that he said 26-30 was grind, it's not you can just do NTC instead of grinding morheim or abyss or w/e area people "like to grind at".

I'll believe you when you maintain #1 in Guild vs Guild in Guild Wars. Okay, that might be too hard... when you get to top 10.

uh, right, I think you forgot /sarcasm.
I play MMORPG:s because I want to be part of a virtual world with massive battles that happens in that world. If I wanted mini multiplayer games with 2v2 or 3v3 I would not play MMORPG:s.

In a MMORPG world pvp is indeed real pvp. Small instanced pvp is not part of the genre.

Its got nothing to do with skill. Its about fun... I have played quake3 and UT for years. But I dont want that type of pvp in MMO:s.
If I want to do that there are fps games that are much better than MMORPG:s. When I play MMO:s battles should be as big as possible...

The bigger numbers, the less it is important to be skilled. You can even see it in Guild Wars.

Guild vs Guild is 8 vs 8. A lot of skill needed.

Alliance Battles are 12 vs 12 (well, 3x4 vs 3x4 teams), and while skilled groups tear through randoms in few seconds (plus coordination), most of the fights are either zerging to one shrine or groups splitting up and getting into 1vs1 or 2vs 2.

Oh, wait, I get it. You are talking about the most "fun" PvP game, not the game with the best PvP. Wouldn't you consider WoW's PvP fun, then?

The most fun PvP is the best PvP. I play games to have fun. I hate arena e-sport PvP in WoW. Its the most boring PvP ever, IMO. I dont play MMORPG:s to do that... There is nothing massive about it at all.

If you want to test your individual skill 1v1 is probably the best option. But why play a MMO if that is all you want to do?

A lot of skill needed when you are outnumbered.
8 vs 8 and other sandbox pvp is just same boring grinding.
