Then after that!? Guess what!?

You get to grind out 45-50 cause this game has absolutely no content post level 36!

I can't wait!
What the hell do you consider content?

Your entitled to your opinion, but I would much rather have options at the risk of some areas not having a lot of people, where as you sound like you want everyone in the same one area like Aion has, meaning no choices, no different area to explore, running out of quests, competing against bots and other ks, who cares if some areas lack people, I was easily able to level on my own in War without it ever feeling like a grind. With scens/pq's contributing a fair amount of xp towards a level aswell as quests and tier stuff like keeps, meaning options, meaning better chance people will make alts and longevity of a game, it wasnt the leveling experience that killed war, far from it, but the endgame mainly.

I would much rather options than a single starting area and path to 50

War had that and more, far more than Aion

Look at all the pq's and chapters etc, I easily looked up the chapter rewards, this meant I could see what ones had items I wanted and I would proceed to go and get the influence up for them, that gave goals and a reason to kill a certain amount of mobs knowing you would get an upgrade. With different starting areas, this also gave different versions of chapters and rewards, so I could pop to another race's land and do them too, this I did all the way up till max level, it was an addition to all the other stuff you could do while leveling.

Having three starting areas, also made quests an endless supply it seemed, you could do your own races, aswell as other races, this meant not running out of solo quests like on my Chanter, doing coin or other repeatable quests over and over till I leveled and get some more fresh quests, while I did plenty group quests, I dont want to have to them when I dont want to, when you run out of solo quests in Aion, its either the few remaining group quests, or just plain grind.

You could actually level by doing just pvp in War, scens and tier stuff like keeps/bo's

War was far from perfect and is why the game is where it is now, but it kills Aion in the leveling part of the game with so many options and fun that came with it, like tier1 and tier2 scens, its why so many people made alts over and over, just for that reason alone

My version of content is anything that isn't me mind-numbingly killing nameless mobs that endlessly respawn forever and ever in Kaiden HQ for absolutely no reason at all. I mean if there were some type of reason for me to be there it would be different, but the only reason people grind HQ is because the community tells us that HQ is the quickest place to level. Not because it has any significance to the story line or any effect on the story line that you love so much.

actually...I have to agree with you on those being somewhat weak excuses to quit, considering almost every mmo on the market has them, however...there is 1 reason I see to quit, and is a major game breaker, that seems to be being put on the backburner...and that is the crysis.dll crashing issue that is affecting thousands of people.

This game is designed around pvp, and with the constant crashes in large scale pvp (even with the shift + f12 ), I forsee an epic fail if this isnt fixed immediately.

I thought you just said you didn't care about the storyline? Now you need a reason to be there?

You know, other than leveling.

Lol...

Yeah, not sure if you're following the argument, but I'm debating with this other guy who thinks that leveling is fine in this game. So yes, story line is important for him.

Your post makes no sense.

I actually enjoyed PQs in WAR to an extent but in the leveling end of it, to me it was just leveling regardless...when I played WAR I never felt like I was having fun leveling, my only drive existed in playing with friends, pvping, and some few story lines I found particularly interesting (Greenskins ftw). As for the scenario point, I thought people kept to Tier 1 and Tier 2 Scens because Tier 3 and up became an imbalanced nightmare and the lower levels were the only source of enjoyable PvP since RvR was practically dead.

That's a good reason.

The lore wasn't worth it, and the PvP was lackluster as to what Mythic had hyped up pre-release. Oh and the balancing was horrible between Order and Destruction. Please stop failing.

EDIT: You know what, I can even add more to that...the WAR community was so unsocial that I rarely made any friends nor did I even have any remote friendly conversations. It felt lifeless.

You're right, anyone who quits for any of those reasons is weak.

In saying we're weak, you're implying that you're strong. In implying that you're strong, you're admitting that you're not having fun, and dislike some of the points you listed. Therefore your definition of strong is someone who spends huge amounts of time not having fun.

In that case, yep... I'll take weak.

Enjoy not enjoying yourself, to reach a point down the road where you may, or may not, enjoy yourself.

I have work for that, don't need another.
