Only thing that kind of tickles me off is the increased video speed...it kind of kills the animation magic

Haha yeah I guess it's a taste thing. I tried to fit it all into one song which resulted in me having to speed up clips XD.

Best video I have seen so far for Aion Combat.

Please make a Melee video if you plan on making more videos in the future, with as much moving/strafing as possible when attacking enemies/players

.(every melee video I see is people standing still doing attacks.).

Few questions because I have never received definites on these so far which are very important from me(coming from WoW.).

Does Aion have Auto-Follow on your enemies? Example: When your enemy runs away from you, your character automatically follows them(just like Guild Wars.).

If Aion has Auto-Follow, is it only for Air combat?

When you are out of range from an enemy and use an ability, does the game auto move your character in range? Example: My spell is 30 yard range, my enemy is 40 yards from me, I press my ability and the game auto moves my character in range then starts casting the spell.

Does your character get locked into auto-attacks/instant cast spells preventing you from jumping/moving while doing an auto-attack or instant cast spell? Example: I'm chasing someone and cast an instant spell, but by casting the instant spell, my character stopped moving to cast the instant cast spell.

If the above is true, does "getting locked into animation" only apply to some abilities or all?

Thank you! Um, atm I got a lot of stuff going around (you know xmas around the corner) and school work. I read distance so I don't have any free days which kinda sucks ;D. But once stuff are cooling down a bit I'll most likely level a melee character up to see the difference, so you'll have to wait a while!

If you chose an attack or right click the enemy or just press "attack" on your actionbar then your character will automatically run towards the target. You don't notice it as much as a caster since yeah.. you're ranged so it feels like WoW. I don't know if your character continues to run after the enemy if it moves / runs away but I'd guess that's most likely since the melees should automatically have auto-attack, it's not really the same for my sorceress at least.

And yeah, that should pretty much answer the 2nd question as well, if I start casting a spell at 40m from the target, but the range on the spell is 35m, then my character will automatically move those 5m and then start casting.

On my level 2 assassin I could run around the mob and use the one ability I had without getting locked. So I'm guessing it might depend on the abilities. Since the only "high level" character I have is a sorceress it will be hard for me to answer.

However! I can move around as I please when throwing instants and I don't get locked into position (sorceress), it mostly requires me to face the target but since you can strafe and run away it will still count as facing the target so that's nice. So there are some mobility when in combat at least. When I get higher level and do some PVP I'll notice this much more then what I do now, so hopefully I'll be able to answer this question better then.

As soon as i get my hands on a free version of fraps and something to edit them with im gonna start recording my abyss pvp since im doing it constantly every night these days. Ive had some truly epic pvp recently cant wait to share ^^

WASD and click-to-move (not sure if you can turn that off, everything is in korean XD). Q and E are strafe by default, I have them binded though so I hold in right-click on mouse and look around. Habbit from WoW, I think having strafe is better when facing multiple targets since you can run away-ish AND target enemies with a mouse-click rather than relying on tab.
