In the Tier 5 zone at the Island to the West in the Asmodian world, there is a chained Stone Giant. Who knows if it's the same as this Colossus.

Let's think about this for a moment.

The runner has a huge shadow because he is close to the light source, and because of the angles, he casts a large shadow.

Intuitively, because he is closer to the light source, he blocks more of the light, and creates more shadow (absence of light).

This, however, does not apply to the drake shadow scenario. This is because the source of light is the sun.

CASE 1:
The runner is bigger than the light, but the sun is larger than the drake. After a certain point, as you get closer to the sun, your shadow starts to fade out. So the fact that his shadow is huge, means that the drake is at least as large as that shadow or larger. (Ex: Ever seen an airplane shadow?)

CASE 2:
The runner is bigger than the light, also, the drake is larger than the sun. In this case, the drake is larger than the sun. Done.

When I saw the first vid with the colossus I thought it was a raid boss (it was fighting asmos i think ?). But now after watching this vid I'm wondering if this Colossus (elyos lord ?) could work like the balaur but would pop in the game in order to help out the elyos faction only ? Colossus were the find inhabitants of the planet, even before Aion created the humans and the drakens.
Their current form (basically they're elementals, made out of fragments of the destroyed Tower) however is not the one they had back then.

They owned all those giant things lying around in the Abyss (broken sword, helmet, shield, etc):
