level 30 wings are roughly 1.1million qina and the lvl 40 are roughly 11 million qina... so getting a "free" pair at level 50 is always nice.

Stats on wings

-Lvl 30: 30sec flight time
-Lvl 40: 60sec flight time
-Lvl 50: + ~150HP 35sec flight time

I'd love to see the 50 ones as well. Oh and great thinking for losing 25secs flight time when you upgrade :/
AFAIK Flight time can be way more important to the outcome of a battle than 150hp if you utilize it skillfully.

The level 40 wings cost 11 mil, while the level 50 wings are a quest reward or something.

For clarification purposes: When you have completed every mission quest in the game, you activate the quest for the level 50 wings. But don't think you just hit 50 and get the wings... many mission quests include elite zones and instances. Getting these wings will not be a solo job.

I personally will not be buying the lvl 40 wings. I'm going to buy the level 30 ones and save up for spellbooks and alchemy.

well for anyone who was seen the animations for the wings, they are clearly not biological, they're prolly powered by... iunno magic energy or sumthing.

Yeah for clarification the level 50 wings don't require that you complete every mission quest but it is the last mission quest in theo moss. That said it requires that you complete the majority of the mission quests throughout the game just to unlock it. Also as Syx pointed out the wings even in game lore are not a physical part of the character but are something that upon ascension your character gains thus it comes to pass as common sense that the wings are a manifestation of Daevanian Power. This even plays into why you can't fly when on the serface of the planet in a zone where there is not a concentration of daevanian power. If you ever bother to notice the areas you can fly outside the abyss all have some source of Daevanian Power in the vicinity. Usually its a direct portal to the abyss through which the Power flows, in some cases its less obvious or more obscure. Gotta love when something gets posted for like the 100th time and its still a big deal because people don't ever search forums when they register they just jump in the middle and expect that they'll get filled in.

FYI they give 30s flight time, 100 HP, and another effect I have not been able to successfully translate yet.

No you can't change the color of the wings. The reason you don't hear much about them is because they are part of the 1.2 patch that makes the level cap level 50. That patch isn't part of the Chinese client as of yet so I wouldn't expect them to be saying much about it. On another note I've been trying to find out what I believe is the extra effect on the level 50 wings and I'm confused because some places i find it listed and other I don't. I guess at this point we're waiting till I actually get the chance to acquire the wings which probably won't be till the western version as everyone english speaking seems to have quit on the Korean client, at least Elyos side. I also suspect that those wings are being shown on very small characters and are not actually as large as they appear.

I REALLY hope they make a few different wing styles for each level later on. ._. Those Asmodian wings are hideous!!!
I liked the black/purplish/pink wings. Asmodians are not supposed to be demons...
This makes them look like horrid, evil creatures.
Imagine a cute little Asmodian girl.. pure, innocent - opposite to what the Elyos think.... wearing THOSE wings...-_-;
I wont be getting those wings unless it suits the character I make. For now I'll keep wishing for more wing types.
