LOVE THEM WINGS.. But frankly, the Asmodian wings are JUST as cool. This game is wierd that way, both sides are exactly equally cool imo. The capital cities too. I just walked through Sanctum and i was like O_O the entire time, just as i was when i walked through Pandemonium.

Usually in games one side is awesome and the other is bland (Altdorf vs Inevitable City for example, altdorf is about as average as it gets)

Well they included the ability to dye your divine and abyss armor in patch 1.1, not to mention the already mentioned lvl 50 wings in 1.2, so i wouldnt be surprised if they add alot more wing types or skins later on. These are the mounts in this game, and i think its pretty given that 99% of all players would go nuts over new wings, as they do over new armor or weapons
They want to keep their players happy and feed their desire for new "cool" stuff, otherwise no $$ in the end =)

I assume the "Black cloud wings" are the same as the "Black cloud earrings". Which is that if you play Asmodian, they have one look, and if your character is Eylos, the earrings get a different skin, so i assume its the same for the wings.

It'll be interesting to see however, if the ingame name still is Black Cloud Wings for the eylos wings LOL..

The wings in this thread look great! Some look cumbersome and a bit gaudy, but this is the first I've seen Aion wings and I was expecting normal-looking bird wings. So it will take a bit of getting used to.

Currently, I'm leaning towards the Asmodian wings as looking the best. I love the ominous mood that they create for me.

In the recent podcast it said you can customise your wings? Does this mean you can customise the different levels of wings to look different than other peoples or are there just certain wings you get at certain levels and you can "upgrade" to the newer wings or not as you level. Also Sorry if this has already been asked/answered somewhere.

There is an item slot for wings.. when you buy your other wings they appear as a feather (probably the reason for the confusion with the fire feather) that is equipped in the slot.

Taunie: i've seen pictures of players wearing that helmet. Anyone have a clue where to get it, or if it was a special event, or if simply only the guardian gets it.. or what?

Yeah the elyos is sadly way better. Even if it does look like 2 giant saddles were thrown on each wing.

Oy... I really think wings should be gifts for accomplishing missions, would kinda make more sence.. I mean all wings, not lvl 50 wings.

I think what they ment to say in that podcast wasn't about looks of the wings. He talked about enhancing fly-time through various ways.
