That guy just didnt know what to start with if u know what i mean...
He seemed so confused and what he showed to me is that the game has so much to offer, that he kinda lost it for a sec ![]() edit: And of course fanbois will still be out there saying that yet another game is a WOW clone. Last edited by BaGGs; 07-18-2007 at 06:41 PM.. |

Always reassuring to have the information given in an interview though.

I like how he kinda stresses that you won't just be able to turn on auto-attack. I cannot tell you how many times I've done that in EQ.

I liked it the guy did a pretty good job explaining the main stuff featured in Aion.
I just don't like the comments guess it's people's voice but still some of them don't know what there talking about. |

If you watch a few of the other videos, it shows a few characters with red glowing eyes, maybe these are fallen?
Also their landscape is shown to have mushroom like vegetation growing, which usually grow in dark damp places, i believe. So in my little opinion it seems we have fallen, but i am unsure, need confirmation. ^_^

i usually find myself reading poster commentary after videos. those were some of the worst--most sounded very uneducated, which in a way, doesn't surprise me. simple answers with simple thought without taking the time to do any sort of research. and of course, my favorite of all time, pointing out that something looks 'gay.'
i wouldn't base my opinion of the subscriber base on that page alone, however, my guess would be gametrailers may cater to a crowd that is not fond of MMOs, and thus the negative reaction and feedback. i don't mind negative reactions, so long as there is a clear and well-thought out reasoning. on another note, i have to say that i am very disappointed with the lack of information coming out of e3 this year. i think the new changes to e3 has actually perhaps done a dis-service to the video-game industry, making it a by-invitation-only event. i think it has limited the amount of information released to the public, plus, not so many fan-made demo videos like last year. i feel like this interview, and other information from e3 2007 regarding AION hasn't told us much that we didn't already know. of course, for those not following the development of AION as actively as this community, e3 perhaps would have seemed to offer up a lot of information. however, i am thoroughly disappointed. perhaps i am wrong, but i thought ncsoft gave the impression they would have a lot more to offer at e3 in regards to AION. not criticizing the staff, not trying to at least, but i am just as hungry for information as anyone else on this board, especially in terms of the fallen. 'll say it again, i just don't feel like i know enough about AION yet. i am still incredibly excited, but i still don't feel like i know a whole lot. regardless, thank you for the video. i welcome anything new. Well before E3 07 we were hinted that we'll see the Asmodian race after closed beta - so I wasn't expecting that at all.
Personally I found this year's E3 quite awesome to tell you the truth. Lots of confirmation as well as excellent videos, albeit we got an early sneak peak of them from aionmeca. It shows how the graphics have really shaped up, while confirming many aspects of Aion gameplay that I simply can't wait to get my hands on. Awesome interview, kudos to you Adrian! But the video comments are so lame I felt I had to comment...and I did ._. Last edited by Ether; 07-20-2007 at 06:36 AM.. |
