Lazuli is the best-looking Asmo I've seen to date. It would be a shame to kill her so I guess I have to switch to the Asmo side. XD

My personal opinion (yeah, I know, everyone has one and not a single one of them is authoritative) is that the pre-canned Elyos models are more attractive than the pre-canned Asmo models, at least where the females are concerned. It's easy to roll a pretty Elyos. It's a little bit more work to roll a pretty Asmo. I can't say that in 15 levels in Asmoland, I ran across many head-turning models. In Sanctum, however, they were a dime a dozen, especially the one that stands there and winks seductively all the time.

In terms of male characters, my Asmo assassin looks significantly cooler than my Elyos one - I chose models that looked as similar as possible but my Asmo appears much more capable, especially with slightly longer arms and claws. And the mane is a nice touch. The glowing eyes I could do without but whatever.

I do find the Asmodian lands to be more colorful than the Elyos'. Sure, they're darker overall, but there's still a lot of beauty there.

The one thing that made me chuckle when comparing Elyos and Asmodian is the Ascension quest for each. In the Elyos quest, (Whoa! Dude! It's Lord Soandso! We're totally saved!~) you proceed to get your butt kicked by a Balaur. In the Asmo quest, you get the smack down by an Elyos general. If I were an Asmodian, I think I'd be a little insulted. :-)

You made some very good points there about the Elyos being easily pretty and the Asmodians taking a bit of work. That's probably why our OP decided to make this thread to begin with. When I made my Elyos, I only tweeked a few things, but for Lazuli, I played with her for a good 30 minutes until I found that golden combination~♪ Anyway, looking forward to more pictures! Keep them coming people! All very good so far

funny, i found it far easier to make an asmodian to my liking than elyos.

Asmodians have a supernatural feel to them once you make them, so it's kinda easy to make a character that you want. Their dark skin also drowns out unwanted shaders, and they have talons and manes to divert attention from most face details and body sizes. And finally, their talons and manes makes them look a bit more "Powerfull" to most people.

Oh and since their skin is blue/pale, there is no really "wrong" or "weird" skin color to them while Elyos have good skin tones, and bad skin tones.

To be honest, I didn't get to play much with character make to see for sure which was easier for me. I'm just going by the two characters I made. I'll be able to be more clear when Beta 4 rolls around.
