I am in fact Elyos, and I heard/thought Asmodians were prettier.

I wanted to roll the race less appealing to reduce the young players (because as I have mentioned before, Asmo is going to get all the twilight readers who want to play a Vampire).

You do realise us Elyos can look exactly the same , just with different eyes and slightly different skin color?
And ofc the manes/claws but not having those is a good thing.

Asmodians are definitely way more gorgeous and unique. The back-mane and claws are are an awesome touch, the wings are incredible, and you can't go wrong with glowing battle eyes!

Halia, my Spiritmaster, hanging out on top of Altgard in her battle stance. Red eyes, claws, and a hint of back-mane = wicked awesome.

No, we don't look the same. Vampire fans want the black wings, dark colored skin, and glowing red battle eyes... They don't want an angel.

We have manes, yes, that just means our men are hung like horses and our women have the stamina of a wild mustang!

I totally get where you're coming from on this, but last I saw, Twilight Vampires didn't have intense backhair, glowing eyes or claws, and they can go out in the sun. If anything they are the LEAST vampiric looking vampires ever created (I won't even get into the sparkling... just no). So I think if anyone wanted to make a more realistic twilight style vampire, Elyos would actually be the better race, because you can still create a pale creepy looking character, just without the trademark asmo features.

Not disagreeing with you though, that fans of vampires/dark critters in general will want to roll an Asmo. They are the 'darker' race after all.

So far I do still think Asmodian females are more interesting (not seen many males), but just based on attitude and perspective, I'm going with Elyos.

I took thse while taking the flight paths. Asmodae has just as much gorgeous scenery as Elysia does.
