Asmodian Character Looks

Heres the short version of the question, then Ill go into more detail. Can Asmodians look like the Elyos?

A number of my friends all want to play as asmodians, as do I, but I also have another friend that will only play Elyos based on character looks. Hes one of those people that are in love with the pale faced, blond haired, schoolgirl looking anime characters and is very much against anything even slightly "emo" looking.

I havent gotten a chance to play beta but Ive seen some vids saying how awesome the character creation is and how you can change pretty much everything so Im wondering if an asmodian character can be made to look like the blond, pale faced beach going elyos?

Pale-faced, no at the best you can get a pasty white face.

Don't know about the hair though.

Overall, they are quite clearly asmodian.

not true, you can get a semi "normal" looking skin color. Hair is same, brown, blonde, blue, pink. Pretty much anything you can think of. BUT, You do have claw like feet, not normal feet. Also you have kind of a horse mane on your back. From the front ankle up you can look just about the same, until you get in combat and your eyes glow =). I have friends switching from wow to this with me and they wanted to "look good" and after playing beta with them they decided on asmodian.

Yup, you'll even get more unique looking characters than elyos. You get used to the mane and won't see the claws on the feet for the females because you'll have shoes on to cover it.

You just have to be me, though. Jk ^-^

I made an asmodian girl, who look Elyos. It is pretty easy. Also, they mane/tail is cute.

You can get pretty close - mane and claws are a constant but they're well executed, so you get used to them. Skin tones are notably different, but you have the same range of hair colors and almost the same hair styles (asmodians get one that elyos don't ... I'm not sure if that's reversed).

This is as close as a friend and I got in the last beta event. We both have a tattoo / marking by one eye. which I can see how some would consider that kinda emoish. The skin tone on mine, the Cleric, was an experiment to see how close I could get.

Asmodians are always going to have a paler color but there's really not much difference between the two races aside from the claws, and Mane on the Asmodians hehe

Well that and the fact Asmodians are win.
