I think there is an initial "Wow!" factor just because people are seeing something that they've been hungering after for quite a long time in the Asmodians. My opinion is that they're on par with the Elyos - I wouldn't switch sides to play one. From what I've seen in screenshots and the video, none of the models jump out as being particularly memorable (thus far) while I can recall perfectly a few of the Elyos, both male and female.

I'm most likely going to make both types...that way I can get a feel for both and see which I like more. And as for the whole "tail" idea, I think that is just part of their armor because it doesn't show up all of the time, only on certain ones. Of course...they may have give you the choice in the customization whether or not you want a tail.
