YouTube - Aion - Asmodian PvE (duo) Assassin/Chanter or Cleric duo.

Looks to me like a dual box or possibly even botting??

Anyone else's thoughts?

I think its all to easy to shout bot!!!! these days unless you play L2

im hoping hes 2 boxing, if not then the life of a support class/buffer looks incredibly dull.

It's obviously not being played by someone, it's on auto follow watch the way it moves.

Yes, it's most likely an auto-follow.

Edit: 1:07 is he kind of does the super combo we saw in the classes trailer a while back.

Double Edit: Except the classes trailer one had electricity surrounding the mob.

Omg, that's what I was worried about.. people duo-boxing/botting Chanters as their buff slaves. -.- Someone go beat that guy up before he starts a trend.

EDIT: Although, since the Chanter buffs are pretty short, they'd always need to remain in party and take your exp.. so then having an actively played Chanter would be chosen over a dual-boxed one any day, at least, that's what I'd hope. :P

Tbh I did dual log on another game with a buff char and my main ... It turned out to be slower due to the fact that the buff char was purely leeching and I had to keep rebuffing myself...
Hopefully dual logging will have more drawbacks than benefits in Aion, or at least have something stopping you doing it... Though there will always be people with 2 systems.

2box was popular on LineageII due to the fact that buffs lasted 20 minutes, and it was quite do-able, however, there were some classes (bladedancer and swordsinger) who seem to be like Aion chanters, able to do something by themselves (I had a swordsinger, and I enjoyed it a lot) and with 2 minutes buffs, who need to be buffing constantly, making it difficult to 2 box and not worth it, while prophets/Shilien elders were 2 boxed, bladedancers and swordsingers were played.

Er 30 mins on PP/Bishop buffs and 5 on BD/SWS buffs. It makes sense and Aion would do well to follow this. Boxed buffers can seriously cripple games so an inbetween would be welcome.
