Irisviel and Shilenne, thanks for taking the time to answer an endless sea of questions.

I have a question about background music: Is it possible to disable combat music without disabling region music? If so, will the region music play during combat?

Yes, there is an option to disable combat music and just let background normal music to flow. I do this as well since my comp is crappy, switching from normal music to combat music slightly pause the game.. very slightly but I could notice lol so for this reason I play with combat music off.

Other then racial things.. I really don't have much info about the DP. I will ask to korean players later on official forum when I have time later. Although, there was some rumour about DP, like if the DP gauge is full to level 3 then damage will increase or whatever.. I have not confirmed this yet.

I've already answered these questions before but I will re-answer since I didn't know much about Cleric's mana efficiency then.

I've grouped with 6 people today, including a level 19 cleric. We were doing this elite quest which is.. pretty hard I gotta say, WAY harder than running deadmine of WoW at level 19-20. Well 1 thing I realized from grouping with these people, cleric never ran out of mana. Well maybe it's because we only killed 1 or 2 at a time but still he never had problem keeping the tank alive and me(I pulled aggro many times for over nuking). I am not entirely sure but I think their mana efficiency to heal is way better than WoW's priest.

About the stun in pvp, I've seen some cleric dueling a gladiator.. he used stun whenever it's up and it didn't get resisted at all so I am going to say "probably no" although I might be wrong. I will test it on my own later, plan to test cleric before closed beta ends.

Chanters got way more buffs than clerics do, clerics only have 2 buffs increase armor and increase HP. Not sure if clerics get any more buffs than this yet, since highest level is like 26 atm.

So, there was some rumour that the speed of the characters are actually depends on the overall weight they carry. Inventory, weapons... any sign of that in beta?

Hmm... far as I know.. nope not true. I carry tons of stuff in my inventory all the time but that doesn't slow down my char's running speed. There is no weight system at all, which I am glad since I never liked weight system in Lineage 2.

Hello irisviel

this is my first time posting in these parts so i thought id start out w/ a hardy hello.

ne how. Im wondering if you've played a Spirit master yet.

if you have id like to know how the Spirit Control and mechanics work. White kind of Offensive skills they have that are seperate from their pets, those attacks' power, if they have high survivability, and how they do in PVP.

if you dont know any of these things at this point i understand.

Sorry I haven't tested spiritmaster yet. From what I've seen so far, they are just like Warlock class from WoW, they simply put pet on mob to make it tank then nuke it down. I haven't seen a high level spiritmaster yet so no idea if they get any special nuke spells. Well, they do have "high survivability" since they are probably the best pve solo class atm, I can't say that they dominate in pvp.. because they don't but they are pretty good in pvp as well since having a pet means extra dps so yeah.

I've dueled all except spiritmaster and cleric, I was able to beat gladiators and assassins most of the time, except against really good ones, who knew what they were doing and cheaters who used potion in a duel >.> only class I had trouble beating is ranger... because of their knockback shots and stuff they have plenty of ways to interrupt casting.

cool thx! One more question. Which class was made to kill rangers? afaik tanks deal too little dmg to kill anybody and glads are too slow so yeah i am kinda confused...

Gladiators and assasins probably can stun lock them if they gear near them somehow but atm ranger class is the pvp god due to dog form exploit.

There was an interesting thing in one of the korean intervews late december.

Theyve said that weather is affecting the speed of gathering and the amount of spawning materials. Any sign of this in the game?
