Replying for Iris for now, he's a little busy doing something else, I've also tested my assasin in CB2.

From the starting zone atm, the roads are more like trails in the forest, which means you can wander around into grass or lake freely. If you stick to the roads there are less chance that you'll aggro mobs, and the trails usually will lead you from one town to another, or to a "save point" where you choose to hearth at or res at after you die. I don't know about the world maps I think most areas are linked, and depending on the area it is the size differ. I would say from how I played so far that one quest won't lead you to the next on the trail, it's more of a free wandering style. I have to update this as I level =p. The higher level maps are bigger, and the beginner zone map is smaller, but it still takes quite a while to explore everything. Some trails splits into 2 with one leading to another and one becoming a dead end later on etc.

And there are hidden things I believe that no quest will lead you to, things to look at and stuff, but it's hard to tell atm need to level up and explore more =p

Wow thanks for the information. I've enjoyed reading these pages and viewing the screen shots.
Can I just ask if you guys who've played CBT2 are still around, how does Spiritmaster and Chanter play if you've seen them around/fought against them.

By play I mean damage output, defenses. How well they work

I'm not sure about them. Atm the feedback for Chanter shows that they still need to be worked on. Currently, their buffs aren't as great as their role should be, and also their damage from meleeing leans towards the weak side. Chanters have been complaining on the korean testing feedback to ask for a better balance of their class.

As for spiritmasters, I plan to reroll one within these few days (since we'll be trying out asmodian chars) so I'll see if I can answer that later

spiritmasters are pretty balanced. they are like warlock from WoW, minus the endless fear and dot, dot, dot. they have 4 types of elementals that changes shape as you level up. i am pretty sure that you guys already watched this video.. of spiritmaster but incase some people haven't i will link it here.


i will tell you guys more about spiritmaster later once we test the class out or talk to the guy with level +20 spiritmaster since i have no idea what kind of spells they get at higher level and how they hunt.

It's even more awesome when you can't read a single word in the game and find stuff, but in general, the scenary everywhere's breathe taking, and I would definitely suggesting exploring around (I love exploring, I hate being told where to go in advance ;p). Also leave the music on! That's all I'm going to say, it's just amazing

Elysium, the capital city of Elyos is really something. can't compare to crap cities like stormwind and silvermoon from WoW.
