hey i was just wondering, but how exactly are the chanters in the game so far? are they more like the prophet of L2 or more along the lines of a paladin in WoW? basically are they just a buffbot class or does it seem as though they have an actual use in pvp/pve?

It was already adressed Bretta, chanters are a bit of everything, being the best at nothing.

I'd say it, in L2 terms, more like C3 or C4 overlords, with a decent heal, a decent damage and some usefull buffs, melee based with some magic skills.

Earlier on a mention of "mission type quests" cought my eye, does that imply that there are different types of quests? If so could you please elaborate?

Wow that's awesome... Just curious to see what happens when somebody completes a high-profile order a second before you do... I see a lot of chewed-through keyboards

Well maybe once you accept it, it gets taken down from the bulletin, so no one else will take it as a quest. Then it would have to expire after a fairly short period of time though, so if someone didn't do it quickly, it would be open for someone else to do.

Sounds pretty much like a system to commision crafters to make stuff for you, which I think is pretty neat .

Things like "how often do the portals between both sides open? How long? Are they always in the same place? Anything about the sieges in the abyss?

perhaps its a generic quest type, in that multiple people can accept "the order" at the same time... i mean, its not as if we'll see a change in the NPCs items, etc. once an order is finished... so, why cant 2,3, 50 people all be doing the same quest for the NPC?

its just like the kill X quests, except this particular quest has you using crafting skills, as opposed to combat skills...

No, because he said it's a quest given by a player, who probably won't want to buy 50 of the thing he's asking for.

Seems like portals are static and opened the whole time during beta testing, will change, and the abyss isn't in beta yet (at least not fully implemented, daeva quest is there ^^).

In the very first trailer I saw climbing is that still ingame? And is that wing flash light thing the lvl up animation (Don't mean that thing which you see when you activate your wings). Could you tell us a bit more about the foliage how it looks feels and stuf like rippeling the water with your wings. That would be awsome thanks in advance you guys are the lifesource we feed on right now xD.
