I am not sure if people already knew about this but, it is possible to learn other weapon masteries and armor masteries. This stigma stone that I was looking at, teaches 1 hander sword mastery, it doesn't have any other requirements to use other then level requirement which is 20. so basically my sorc could actually learn to use 1 hander sword or 2 hander if I wish to. But as you can see, it requires ridiculous amount of money to buy. Well tbh... it's not that hard to get 100,000.. at least for me it wasn't.

I never understood the point of stigma. I mean, if you have skills for a certain type of weapon, what would make you want to use another one? Is it just an aesthetical option?

There are class specific stigmas that allows you to learn skills that you can't train from trainers or give special stats such as increase attack speed/casting speed, more damage etc. You could think of it as talent system of WoW's with more choices and free to customize however you wish to.

Another screenshot here.. it's some stigma stone (this is sorc only stigma stone) I found from a mob. It allows me to learn some spell out of it but not exactly sure what kind of spell it is..

I will find out what it is tonight most likely.. my sorc is pretty close to level 20 :[

And yes, its similar to the Materia system, but it slots on your character.

Weapons in Aion also have slots for Godstones and Manastones which affect your weapon's stats.

excellent, thanks Irisviel! i am much more stoked over these types of shots now (vendors, inventory, shops, etc.), as we've seen our fair share of the environments and combat...

So... I finally hit level 20 tonight, learned how to use stigma after a short but annoying quest due to traveling everywhere >_> apparently the stigma stone I found from a mob is portal to Elysium spell.

How do portals work? Do they close after you go through or on a timer? Can only group members and you use it or anyone randomly passing by? If you don't mind

It stays up for the duration of time. I am pretty sure random people can't use it since there were many people standing around it asking me what the heck is this and tried clicking but couldn't go in. Not sure about party members though, I opened it for fun during the grouping for elite quests, no one dared to enter although they were all curious whether they could use it or not lol since if they click that they'd end up in Elysium and it'd take a while for them to come back to where we were questing.
