Yeah but these aren't children, they are normally proportioned adults shrunk down. Big difference.

That's cause being a kid is not only (though mainly) about having abig head compared to the body. The body itself is proportined differently. But Aion seems to offer enough sliders to be able to adjust that. If you know a bit about anatomy.

Pretty sure conscripting pre-16 children to war is generally considered immoral and is now forbidden?

It will be hard to let that stay in the game if this is to be released in North America, if not banned by regulatory boards, the anti-gaming public groups wouldn't let this straw pass.

I don't know what everyone's problem is with the height crisis... thingy. Make your character how YOU want it, shut up, and leave others alone. It's not like midgets and giants DON'T exist in REAL life, too, y'know. Gosh... You should feel thankful that we're lucky enough to have so many features in the first place...

Yes, they do exist in real life...but they're proportionate.

Kids fighting is really that of an issue ?

I mean, even in the World of Narnia or Harry Potter you have children making war. It's all about the weapon. Give them a rifle, no, but give them a bow and it's ok. Give them a knife... well... depends, is it a dagger ? But anyway, give them a sword and there's nothing to worry.

More seriously... we're ina fantasy world. Let's make naturaly born fighters if we want to.

Yeah I'm not sure how I feel about the tiny people. As some have pointed out, they are perfect scale models of their larger counterpart. I'm not against tiny characters, heck I would even be okay with child/young characters. But perfectly shrunken adults is odd, and looks a bit silly.

I wonder if they jump as high as a full sized character.
