I think it would more accurately translated as "Mau" form. I had expected this, because the Aion developers spent quite a long time developing this race -- their culture was complete with villages, buildings, and their own lore. However, having the transformation as the Ranger's DP surprises me.

Why the rangers?... I want my spiritmaster to be able to turn into a Mau too...

I think it's interesting that the elyos rangers get a Mau transformation, thought that Mau were exclusive to the Asmodian part of Atreia.

OMG I want to play a Mau too!

But I would never make a ranger...

IMO shapeshifting should be gear related, like wear a Mau costume and change into a Mau, or some kind of consumables.

As a DP skill it just seems out of place.

Well, it's written 라이칸, in korean and it's direct translation is Lycan. also in skill discription it says Transforms player to a lycan knight lol.

well It is called Lycan and written as Lycan, not mau. I don't know if they are using Mau graphic for this for real and if it is indeed Mau graphic, it might be a temporary thing. I don't see why elyos rangers should become a Mau.

True, Lycan=Mau, old names of Maus were Lycan, old concept arts were named like that too. But that doesnt really matter, we all know what they are.

I'm getting the feeling that this graphic is just a placeholder. There will probably be a much cooler one in release.
