You could make a Paladin with the right Stigma.

Take a Cleric, Stigma a Longsword, Shield, and Platemail and you're basically set. Stigma attack or defense if available.

Templars have some healing/buff skills don't they?

Yeah I wouldn't say Templars = Paladin necessarily. A Paladin is basically 100% meatshield, but Aion plans to have Templar be a tank with a new look on things. Some firepower perhaps. But if you're looking for the tank class, Templar is still your guy~

Maybe self. No indication there are ally heals for Templars. It would be nice, but I've heard nothing.
