True. Although another way of looking at it is; If the person who creates the thread doesn't have the time to do some light browsing and research a legion suitable for them, but instead expects them to come to him. Maybe other Legion's aren't particularly interested in "jumping at the opportunity".

P.s. Calindor, real clans don't need forums to inform people of what's going down. Anyone who logs Ventrilo daily can see whats planned in the MoTD, or if they are worth being in the clan they will already know through communication anyway.
