Adult legions??

Maybe 20+ is different, I know myself I matured quite a bit in those 2 years. You learn things every day, which means you've learned quite a bit in 2 years.

Well, as I've mentioned on another post in this thread, it's possible to find teens that are mature. Again, it's not about maturity, it's about my comfort in speaking freely without the possibility of influencing a minor. This is just my preference...it might not be so for others.

Yeah, but they say "indeed", "I see", and say words describing their actions too much.

Maturity is hard to observe based on simply a number. That's why I hesitate to put in a strict age limit. Frankly, as soon as someone opens their mouth on vent, or chats in-game, you can tell what their maturity level is. Being an adult oriented legion was important to me because I'm a father and a husband, and at the end of the day when the little one is bed I don't want to have to "watch my language" or "play nice." My game time is my wind-down time. It's when I crack open a beer and chill before sex and bed time.

I totally agree with you. And you're right, it's not strictly about age, per se. Certainly there are many homes for younger folk, but not that many for those, who want to speak freely. So, an all adult legion is a welcomed change.

In a mature legion, would people be forced to talk normally? No adding excessive amounts of 'z's at the end of plural words. No ambiguous acronyms that only people that haven't seen the light of day for a few years would recognize. Credit card billing information has to match the first and last name, not just the surname.

So you want to swear, make sex jokes and exchange cleverly timed political puns without having tweens saying "poo, fart, I like Hannah Montana" for their contribution of the byplay.... I can dig it.

I, myself am a casual player and I think most adults are. A relax guild might be better. Mature people also have incomes, so what we lose out on for not playing 10 hours a day, we can make up in the cash store in 5 minutes.
