Adult legions??

When Aion comes out, I will be searching for some kind of adult legion. I'm wondering if there are any out there or planned to be created? I have to say that I am seeking a firm decision to maturity, and I realize that the argument will be that there are many younger people out there, who are mature, but I would be more comfortable knowing that I'm speaking around adults in case some kind of mature reference were to slip. This is just a matter of my own ethics, and while I realize that there really isn't a way to confirm age, at least I can live in denial, believing that I did my best

At this point, I haven't really decided on faction, so it doesn't matter whether the legion is Asmo or Elyos.

Would it be to much to ask for an adult, video making legion?? Ok, maybe that's a stretch LOL

hmm, dunno. Just keep on the look out for one. Dynasty's legion Chaos Gaming is 18+, maybe that'd be good.

Yea Shade, 18+ is fine, although a higher age limit might work, also. I'll check out Chaos gaming.

Thanks for the list, justamemory. I've read a few, already, but there may be something I missed. So, I'd rather hear the aim of the legion directly from a leader or member.

I'm not really expecting an answer today. I'm tossing this heading out there in order to start this search. I realize that its moot until the game comes out.

If interested, Divinity - Disciples of Aion

We are an open legion but when it comes down to attitude, we're pretty strict on that front. Everyone in Divinity is intellectually inclined so the conversations are always grand. Yes things do "slip" on vent but it is all part of good fun.

Good luck with your search, a lot of a good legions currently out there.

Think ull find their are plenty of legions out there that will have a lot of 18+ members with maybe the odd young player, but probally still mature for there age.

Depends what you expect for maturity
Its a given that in those type of legions you can swear without having to watch your language for someone younger.

WOW Heretique. Now that's a beautiful website!!!!!!! I like the organization, but I didn't see anything on age requirements. And good lord, you all have lots of rule LOL.

Just for clarity, the age is primarily for me to feel better about potentially speaking about mature matters. It's not the language or drama bit that bothers me (all that much). It's a matter of feeling free enough to talk without being concerned about a minor. Just my comfort level thing-a-majiggy

Well, everyone who's at least 16 shouldn't be hurt to hear anything adult-related. See what you mean though, I myself would seek a 18+ guild at the least, if it weren't for the fact that I'm making one.

Haven't decided on 18+ or 20+, I would prefer 20+. However by 18 ppl tend to be fairly mature, also by taking 20+ it's harder to find ppl.

Oh Dez, I tell ya what...if you make it, they will come!! I think many gamers are looking for adult only guilds. And believe me, it makes life far easier. Do you intend to have a small, medium, or large, legion?

Hm well I'm not a fan of quantity, more so quality. In Guild Wars I was in this legion where most members age ranged from 25-40. There was no sign of immaturity not once as I recall, yet there was a lot of humor. We were only like 20 people or so, but these ppl played together like ever day.. when I say "together" I mean not only talk in gchat, events happened daily.

People didn't just think of their own gain and helped out members all the time, happy to help anyone in need. These ppl were also skilled, so yeah you can be skilled -and- nice. That's what I aim for, a sense of balance. Sure we want to progress and work on our skills, but first most is friendship.

As for numbers I would say something like medium or below, we won't be the kind of guild who has 100+ members, that is for sure. Also, a big community can easily lead to drama, confuse/mess and might not get so close. There most likely be a select group the in guild who has the attention most of the time, and a lot of people get left out.

Yes, everything that you're talking about, Dez, is what I'm looking for. And I agree on the large clan issue. When it becomes that large, people do get lost, indeed. I would much prefer a smaller legion to a larger one with a friendly atmosphere, for certain.

Cruciamentum Animus "Tortured Souls"

we've got and age range of 19-48 so far, got about 20 members. Can't really tell maturity until you've experienced a number of situations with a person, but so far the maturity level seems pretty promising.
