ProJekt.Sei will be playing Lineage 2 Retail on Luna server when it is launched at the end of this month (April). This is a good chance for our applicants to play with us and allow us to decide if they are qualified to join our organization. Anyone else that would like to play with us is also welcome; just contact me.

i've looked at a couple of "hardcore" guild forums and this guild is the ONLY one that has a rejected app on it.

if you SAY you are going to be hardcore and you only want the best, put your money where your mouth is. THIS guild does.

Hmm, I beg to differ. An hardcore guild dont even recruit before they can actually play together ingame.
For instance, BlackTide will move to Aion from RF Online and we do not intend to recruit till the game is released (beta will be just there to check the game mechanics and so on for those who are not in krCB).
We have a strong core of players and we see no need to recruit left and right whoever.
Play hard, you'll get noticed and eventually invited in guild. That's how we work.

So, your statement is not actually very true.

Everyone has different ways to recruit & at the end of the day its not your legion. I do agree with misuse of the word hardcore, but just let people say what they want. At the end of the day when the game comes out, you will know if people / legions have been honest with themselves.

I also agree with lavi's comments somewhat, just another method. but that also doesnt mean blacktide's hardcore because they choose to recruit once the game is released.

Lavi that is true in some ways, but then again we are really "recruiting" per-say. You may have missed this section

Quote:
If you wish to be an applicant you may apply on our forums. Keep in mind that by applying you are letting yourself a chance to be noticed in-game. We will be accepting and rejecting applicants after having played with them for a certain time period. Applicants who apply before beta will get a chance to play with us during beta, and we will have a response phase after beta to let players know if they are accepted or rejected.
Does this seem harsh compared to other guild's acceptance policy? Yes, but it's the player's choice whether or not they wish to attempt to get noticed and join this legion. If they fail to do so, their days/weeks of playing with us wasn't a complete waste in my opinion. They can understand how a serious legion is operated, and what is expected out of each member. This may help him understand what he needs to do in order to improve his own game and maybe be able to get accepted into a serious legion or maybe even this one later in the game. As for us, new people have new ideas, and different ways of playing. Just because someone isn't hardcore doesn't mean there isn't something to be learned from them.

We do not believe in recruiting people who we don't know. Azza's statements are wise. "At the end of the day when the game comes out, you will know if people / legions have been honest with themselves." By applying, it helps applicants get noticed, and we will be deciding to keep or toss them in the week or two of playing. Just because someone's hardcore doesn't mean they will fit in well. If they don't mesh with our team, then it's better not keeping them no matter how hardcore they are.

@Lavi - People have different methods of achieving the same goal. Just because you don't believe in our methods doesn't mean we're not hardcore. Whichever method is superior or inferior can only be determined after they have been used. It is unwise to judge others if their methods differ from your own. Pay attention to other people's methods, not in recruiting specifically, but in anything. There can be things to be learned from how other people's way of doing things, and that applies to almost every aspect in life.

What server was blacktide on in RF, i haven't even heard of them.

but most people who question other guild's legitimacy just feel threatened by the other's presence.

Hmm I think I need to clarify a few things.

1)I did not question your guild legitimacy. Jinzen did question a lot of other guild legitimacy though.

2)I do not feel threatened by your guild as you say as
--> I did not question your guild legitimacy
--> The more tough guilds there will be around, the more fun it will be

3)No, I do not read you recruitment method. You guys do what you want and how you want.
And I'm sure you do it well. And in fact, we use pretty much the same methods.

So in short, I think you guys misunderstood the point of my previous post.
I was not questionning your recruiment methods, nor how hardcore your guild is.
Just saying that the "ONLY" guild that could be considered hardcore is this one is not a true statement, and I think we all know it.

That's what is so exciting about Aion. There will tons of experienced guilds ready to compete.

To answer Ash : We have not decided yet. Leaning towards Elyos though, just to kick KoS butt.

To answer FeyraN : From Fire and Earth server. And, I never heard of you in RF Online either.
