First thing to note, is that we're a hardcore guild. We're only interested in the best players. Why? Because we're aiming to be the best. With members who have vast experience in dozens of MMOs, FPS, RTS, and other genres, our legion has some of the finest members to play Aion. Lineage 2, World of Warcraft, Guild Wars, Final Fantasy XI, Counter Strike, Call of Duty 4, Starcraft; but some of the games our members have played long-term. If you are interesting in being in our legion, then it's advised that you are on par with our members.

As a community, we see team work as very important, and because of that, we realise that getting to know each other is also very important, and plays a large role in being the top legion in a game. We have our own forums, and our own Ventrilo server for communication. Obviously, to participate at the highest level (in terms of skill) in Aion, you'll need a microphone, and Ventrilo. It is advised that you join our Ventrilo server frequently, and often post on our forums. Try to get involved with the community as much as you can.

Regarding race, we're going Elyos. Realisticly, there isn't much a difference between going Elyos and Asmodian, player populations are going to be a lot more balanced than what most people think. Having scoped out the field a bit, from the current situation, almost every promising hardcore guild has gone Asmodian, so going for extra challenge sounds more fun. Abyss will be our main territory, that's where we'll be doing most of our dominating. We'll definitely have our own castle, and we'll definitely be doing all of the end-game content of Aion; which is said to be based around the Abyss. About the server we'll play on; that's undecided. We may play on US servers, we may play on EU. Each have their benefits, and we'll also consider who's playing on which servers too. We want as much competition as possible.

We are here to win, that's what drives us to perform at our best. To better ourselves so that we dominate our competition. This is what we will play Aion for; but despite that, we still have a lot of fun. After all, winning is fun. To get an idea of part of our mentality regarding gaming, we suggest you read Sirlin's 'Playing to Win'. There's an introduction, and three parts. Read them.

What is important in competitive play, is that trying your best may not be good enough. That's why you have to put in the effort, and necessary time to be the best. If being the best doesn't interest you, than Chosen Existence isn't for you. We're hardcore players. Our interpretation of hardcore is this. Hardcore is not just putting in loads of time, and it's not being a nerd. Being a hardcore gamer means that you have the mentality of 'playing to win'; having that drive which allows you to take criticism, which doesn't allow you to give up, which causes you to get better and better, and propels your growth. You don't care if something is cheap, you don't care if something is overpowered, because you know that there's a way to get round it, all for the sake of winning - and you understand that winning is important. That is what we at Chosen Existence are, and that's what we're after.

Our requirements are simple and easy to follow, if you are applying make sure you fit the criteria.

1. Maturity. Don't be an idiot basically.

2. Playing style. Play the game as much as you can; remember, we're a hardcore guild, and we will be among the best. Play enough so that you can keep up with the most competent players, refine your skills so that you can represent Chosen Existence properly. Meeting our standards is important; we have no need for players who cannot follow commands, or play their role properly.

3. Communication. As a legion member, you'll need to have Ventrilo, and a microphone. Not having a microphone puts you at a disadvantage - very rarely will we accept someone who doesn't have a microphone; you'll need to communicate a lot at high level content, and typing is too inefficient.

4. Do not discriminate based on gender, race, religion, or anything else. Especially within the guild. Do not promote inter-guild politics, arguing ties in with maturity. Tell an officer or leader, and things will get sorted out.

5. Get to know the legion. Forming a bond is important, and so is getting used to each other. Once Aion is released, we'll be playing a lot, and things would go much more smoothly if nobody was a stranger. Try your best to post on the forums, and join the Ventrilo server.

I saw this guild is a hardcore guild, and thats exactly what i need.
I got vent/ts/skype a mic which doesnt annoy ur ears.
My reflexes are extremely good, I learn quickly. nd a lot more.

Uhh, stop debating unimportant matters lol. It doesn't matter if somebody is sceptical of the guild, we can easily prove them wrong in game, so just be patient... Aion is slowly coming :P

Out of interest, CoD what skill level - WoW to what extent, R.O.S.E What level, and Conquer what level?

On CoD at cod4 im playing with H2k lowpings.net like trialing for the SAB/DOM/TDM squad and behave gaming. so that'd be high. (there arent many that get even a trial and im one of the little that didnt get rejected ontheir first TO)

H2K...impressive. I hear some of their S&D players went to L3 who are a fantastic team. They just beat MYM (Formerly TLR) in the Quarters of the Activision Cup by quite a way. An impressive feat.

Bear in mind H2K have 3 teams, im not up to date on CoD4 because my main fps is source by im assuming .lowpings arent the main H2K team.

yes that wud of been the Qpad squad, which is normally the best. so now the main team is Thermaltake (H2kTT) and lowpings. is more like the TDM squad? :> they play SD abit, which is beHAVE which im in fulltime. and IDD 123 2nd reborn takes ages and made me quit haha :>
