Introduction:

Sons of Elysea will strive to create a friendly and family oriented environment. We believe that making good friends and having fun together is the most important aspect of the game. So, no matter if we win or lose, if we do it together and have fun in the process we will have achieved the greatest reward of all.

About SoE:

First and foremost, we understand that we're not the legion for everyone. We're looking for "nice" members who are ok with a family oriented guild. We believe that win or lose, as long as we do it with good people, we'll be happy. If you have any specific questions about us, please feel free to ask, but here are some of the highlights:

• We're a family friendly legion. So the forums, ventrilo, and guild chat areas are to be kept PG13
• We do not want a game to become anyone's second job. Real life always comes first, and no one is going to "force" anyone to play.
• We will have both casual players and hardcore players. We believe that everyone can contribute to the legion in their own way. Some are good at PvP, some are good at PvE, some make the legion a more friendly place to be. We understand and appreciate all those different talents.
• Despite the "casual" atmosphere of SoE. We also take many steps to become one of the best.
• Some of our members play very hardcore. They take the game seriously, but just want to freedom to prioritize real life when needed.

SoE - RP and History:

As said before, we intend to be a casual RP legion, giving freedom to all members to RP when they want. Our main goal is to have fun and as we see, many people don't like to roleplay all the time.

We will have a main story line that will be created closer to release, due to the lack of official Aion lore at the moment. Sub-plots will be welcomed, encouraged and even possibly integrated at the main plot. So, feel free to use your imagination! Comments and suggestions from all members will be always welcomed!

Even without a main story, the legion already has a set "personality". As our name suggests, we are heroes of the people. As we see it, Elyos aren't only the Daevas (players), but also the "humans" who live all around Elysea, and not to forget all the other creatures born on Elysea. We will strive to protect them all, with no prejudices or preferences. We are the Sons of Elysea, protectors of all of her childrens. We do not follow any kind of "chilvaric" code, we do what we must to achieve our objectives, of course we are good so we don't commit "evil acts" such as murder in cold blood, but we believe that sometimes fire must be fought with fire. So, our name is what it is, we dont rely on pompous titles like "Knights" or "Lords", we dont need them. We are what we are, and nothing else. Of course titles amongst the members will exist, for the purpose of organization, but in the end we are all Sons of Elysea, brothers and sisters, together in arms for what we believe.

We intend to have scheduled events, like storytelling nights, plot driven raids, hunts, "field trips" and such. One of our goals is to have at least a smaller event every week and a big event every month or two. Mainly leaders and officers will be the "game masters" who will do the storytelling of the main plot, but every player can be "game masters" of their own sub-plots. The only catch is if some sub-plot affects directly the main plot, then it will be required the aproval of the responsible officer.

Especific rules about RP will be added to our forum in the future, we will try to contact other RP guilds to standardize some of them.


The SoE Structure:

Im still deciding and polishing it, but we will have 3 Leaders and some officers. We will have ranks that really means something, but all names and stuff are still being decided.


SoE's Location:

Brazil/Europe/USA

Our official timezone will be decided in the future, it will depend on the players that join up. I am at -3 GMT(Brazil), so for now we can say that we are open for many possibilities.
